There have been many strategies trying to adapt to 1.03, but it is now accepted that the HS (horse shield rush) is vital vs Mordor. A shields rush is fast purchasing of 3 knights, Horse shields and then an attack on Mordor's base. The primary purpose of the HS rush is to put Mordor out of the game as fast and hassle-free as possible by destroying them before they can get trolls out. Since 90% of Pro Mordors will definitely have a troll out, the secondary purpose is to cripple their economy so much that by the time they will have nothing to defend with by the time you have Gandalf out.
