There's been some talk on whether or not "ffa pros" exist, I decided to take it upon myself to investigate this underground world of free for all players.

I was able to sneak into one of their VIP rooms with elite FFA regulars like Hydro. I would be lying if I told you I wasn't at least a little bit nervous at this point. Still, I made it this far, there was no backing out now. I didn't want to end up in Jorgelgris's torture dungeon so I had to play by their rules.

The host started the game and we all made it promptly into the in game lobby, good luck wishes were exchanged. Once the game countdown had started two of the players picked Isengard and Rohan respectively. Surely this was one of the elite strategies we've all heard so much about.

Much to my dismay I saw that I was chosen to play Isengard by the random ffa gods. A quick wallcheck let me know that I was next to Hydro, well regarded by notable ffa experts such as "Suturbs" as one of the very best. I knew I had to focus on defense and try to survive the incoming onslaught of my base.

As expected when I had nothing but my starting uruks and a lowly lurtz hydro attacked me with a vicious upgraded urukai rush which he snuck through a path that many of the non "ffa elite" even know about. By some miracle I was able to ward off this attack.

As I sat there and licked my wounds I wondered what the other two FoL players at the top of the map were up to. My only hope was to befriend one or both of them and join forces against Hydro. With some friendly banter I think I was able to get the green rohan to become sympathetic with my cause, he spared me at a time where he could have crippled me beyond repair.

With my newfound resolve I decided to try my luck and push the offensive onto the FFA titan himself. Unfortunately for me I was met with a much better protected base than I had hoped to find, powerful seige weapons capable of destroying my army from the fog of war.

Like a scolded dog I retreated to my castle and focused on rebuilding. During this time the blue gondor player made great strides in weakening the juggernaut of Hydro's isengard. Together with some help from the green rohan the three of us were able to finish him off.

At this point I was on cloud nine. The biggest threat was gone and suddenly my portion of the map was wide open. I was able to double my outside settlements by taking Hydro's now vacant mill locations.

The next chapter in Striders FFA journey is my offensive. Using magic spells only available to The fighting Uruk'hai faction I was able to gain vision of the Gondor base. With very weak defenses in place I was able to summon the Balrog and destroy him entirely.

This left me in the game with my first and truest ally, the green rohan. I could tell that neither of us wanted to harm the other, but the FFA gods demand that only one can be left alive by the end of the match.

While my old friend and current enemy laid seige to my base I was able to sneak a scout force into his castle. Then we both summoned superpowers the likes of which middle earth hasn't seen. light vs darkness in one final climatic battle? Who would come out on top?.....See for yourself.

Coming out of this FFA experience there's only one thing I am certain of, the skill and caliber of the average FFA player far exceeds the lesser 1v1/2v2 commoners and peasants.

LMAO, this is pure gold. Amateur is the funniest player on this game.

Also Amateur, you have by some miracle beaten Hydro one of the best ffa players certainly and therefore you have achieved pro status, but until you beat Suturbs who is by far the best FFA player and by that extension the best player to grace this game, I cannot call you a FFA elite.

Jed and Blue are noob-med (maybe not now but still micro med) i have never had a difficulty vs them even my major army had diffculty at getting rushing at others. Tbh this is not a good example. I would avoid choruses without an definitive example.

++ I never brought uppon single by single games and claim something. I explained my points very clearly. Yet I saw nobody tried to deny them because they were right.

THen i saw everybody started and focusing on minor issues. Its not rational.

And someone putting into their statements above that "as if i said those" is quite corrupted. Full of exaggaration and similituding rather than distinguishing. very amateurish.

Maybe this will also sound nonsense but true. You guys all post noobish FFA games, there is no real decent FFA games posted, or you posted, because when we have we don't feel like to post like you 1v1 posters. ++ HYdro was sloppy due to much noobs in ffa, but he improved his instant response skills after he started to play with real good FFA guys in two or maybe three years, when he played regular with some good plaerys. I tell you. Dont buy whatever.

Well your ent was cool experiment i appreciate you dont avoid to post such games. You are the bravest, then maybe xeha coz he joins ffa without hesitation or possible lose ends.

Sfz pure noob, I am not sure if other good. coz not remember the replay in detail, i watched long ago.

Dudes, nothing btw: all noobs first learn to kill farms with hors dont be deluded by that fact. many people deluded by ffa players relative good exe but they still noob believe me. A good FFA starts with early competitive game where EVERYONE joins and have gains, and continues with tough figts in every 5 minutes.

With even one noob a ffa does not count to play at all. Coz executional imbalance factor will be shitting the early game.

And i would avoid a game where jorge and a noob spanish player is present. Coz all noobs prefer not jorge to attack, and noobsi n late games are always a disturbing mosquito.

Where eventually being fed won't save you but jorge due to battle-ecos. Esp. after 3 players left in a long-elven power game. (I dont blame jorge ofc. I blame a game with noobs, and extra blame a game with spanish noobs with jorge xd).

Some clearly skip my pre-conditions at respoinding my statements. They have a right though, Coz it was not an easy thing to comprehend, let alone write.

Doubling your efforts, thats good to hear. However keep in mind that In FFA we usually don't select a best, or look for a best (I didnt see that). Though, you could be one of the respected and recognized players among ffa players shortly, coz you are brave.
