This was a good game to watch and even play he is an old esa member from 1.02 days very well he did considering it wasnt an Isen map. I held him off a few times killed a few ballistas with combos until Gandalf white came out then i got trebs, he couldnt kill my trebs really i dont really like getting stoneworkers makes game unfair. But if your desperate you need one get one i tend not to get one as its so lame. A review would be appreciated.

East Rohan
Starting Positions
Gondor / ^SINIST3R^ – south
Isengard (Random) / esa|sunrise – North

Overview

Quite an entertaining game with near constant fighting, Isen looked to have the upper hand but a tentative siege and very good defending from Gondor held Isen off long enough for Gondor to get gandy and trebs, it was still not over but a foolish rush into Gondor base sealed Isen’s fate.

Gondor / ^SINIST3R^

A good start with you getting 4/6 creeps, one stolen by pippin thum.gif which put you well on the way to elves. With your first HS rush you had the potential to do a lot more damage than you did, you managed to get down the armoury but I think you need to split your knights up, since his one pike battalion held you off so he could get reinforcements. I thought as soon as you got the elf summon if you had gone with knights to his base you could have seriously damaged him, he only had a few battalions of pikes which the elves would have taken care off and he had just used war chant and your knights were fully upped. When Isen sieged you did an excellent job of destroying those ballistas with you knights I lost count of how many you killed. This bought you the time you needed to get gandy and trebs which won you the game.

Mistakes / Things to improve

• Few points when knights were idle, harass for map control
• Better HS rush
• Be careful of trebs friendly fire

Isengard / esa|sunrise

You had quite a good start with fast xbows to creep, you were unlucky to lose the top creep to pippin, but did well to retreat xbows from oncoming knights. I felt that you got pikes out too slow, you need to get pikes out straight away and have them constantly producing for an effective pike spam. I don’t think that it was a good idea to go for both an early lurts and ups, may have been better to just get ups. Good defence of your base from the HS rush and good map control allowed you to go for an early siege, you defended your ballista’s well at first to take walls down but then your defence went down hill, I don’t know how many you lost but at 600 a piece this was very costly and meant you couldn’t afford saruman. I know you have said you are new back and I think this shows with your use of wargs, you didn’t really know what to do with them and kept losing them, don’t run them over towerguards 0wn3d.gif ! Also don’t waste palintire spying, which is what I think you did, use it on wargs to kill those pesky knights. I think that you were getting frustrated at the end and went in to his base with a shambles of an army and this was the turning point since from here he pushed you all the way back and took your base. But for one of your first games back well played thumb.gif

Mistakes / Things to improve

• Placement of key buildings, put out of way so more protected
• Keep a constant pike spam
• When defending ballista’s don’t have 2 pikes chasing 1 knight, exposed you so other knights could come in. better protection would have won you this game
• Try to group your units and push forward don’t attack in dribs and drabs.
• though you may have been able to finish it by rushing in straigt away after this point pasted be patient when attacking, there is no need to just rush in.

Overall rating: 5

OMG I didnt think you would post that Replay cause its worse for you then for me.
As I told you in the beginning of the match 1.03 is new for me and I had maybe 10 Games with that patch.
And the moment I break your wall would have been GG for you if I would have rushed in, but I havent played a year so give me some time and let me improve my micro and my gaming skill again .
Btw when I saw the Loading Screen and saw Rank 15 I thought it would be a short game but you didnt play better then the other Rank 15000 Guys I played with that patch.
