Why was it created?Put simply, due to certain restrictions imposed by Electronic Arts, the 1.05 patch(which MaDDoX also helped with), there was not enough time to complete every detail of balancing on that particular patch. BT2:DC is what the official 1.06 should have been, provided we were given the time.
Is it as popular as 1.06?No, although growing rapidly, battletest is not quite as active as the official 1.06 patch of EA's. Though, as the future draws near it continues to emanate over more and more people as the gameplay superiority shines brighter and brighter.
