Despite played on Fallen Empire, I think you guys have hardly seen any game which would be that entertaining.

It's as well because of the matchup which implicates a certain entertainment factor.

There is an tremendous amount of baseswaps which are hardly predictable. Get entertained by really great action throughout the map, througout the whole game.

This replay features everything you might want to see in a "golden replay": Genpoints, superb micro of anyone, no major mistakes by any team as far as I would say, nice build orders and great decisions taken.

A MUST-WATCH definitely, one of the best (team-) replays posted in the last months/years in my opinion. Go judge yourself and honestly be entertained to the maximum. HF & Enjoy smile.gif

Haven't experienced many 2 vs 2 games in which every player lost his base and rebuilt it somewhere else.
This game was very exciting to play and while playing i was impressed by gla's microing. Micro, you are among few who can handle their gla units that nicely.

I seriously think, despite being played on a standard map, this game is Hall of Fame worthy. Bytheway in 10 years we did never vote a 2 vs 2 on fallen Empire into HOF.

If I was to be honest, it would destroy this replay. Ill spare this one and just let everyone else who does not know better enjoy it for what it is.

you played really good Krew, everyone played really good, there is no reason to destroy it smile.gif

You pretty much never see that every player in a teamreplay doesn't do many (m)any mistakes overall.

Is it the game I obsed yesterday?

//EDIT
Yh it was. Was a really nice watch! Wubbed!
But because u brought that up.. no HOF contender imo! First of all, it wasn't THAT close in the end due to the fact that a double USA lategame is insanely strong.. This MU (its a CGvUU) doesn't have the potential for a HOF worty 2v2 because it's either a bash or USA wins imo. You guys really showed a lot but there was nothing really surprising or one of those "How could he know that?"-moments when an a10 or artillery is decisive.. All in all a really good game - no question! Hope to see more of that (and participate in some)! ^^

You're right, but honestly, we could have won it if china knew what to do during and after his base got destroyed. Five buggy's and a group of scorps could have taken care of all those palas/veemds 2v1 if I had not always needed to defend china. I really don't know why he pushed for a main base attack instead of steeling money from usas unsafe. I eneded up taking four sups after the base swap cus eoe does not know how to play RTS games apparently ( no offense) But I think cakey and a whole lot of you seem to forget the basics of an rts game, proving this game to be super shit at times. Along with really bad micro from china very often. The only reason we did not lose faster is because I stayed strong, even after the base swaps.

I have to say, it was impressive usa plays. diamond and leo could be the best usa players (could be) if they sharpened up some needed skills (Slightly Better micro, Unit choice, attack decisions and movement tactics). Like I still don't know why diamond drops in places he knows he wont do much damage too. This boggles my mind.

The real losing point was the failed pop out with my scorps at my safe. The only and biggest mistake for the team. Could have one easily if I had all those.

GG i guess.

We also had an advantage because we were able to talk to each other. Organize attacks, organize the baseswap was so important after all. tongue.gif

I didn't drop once in the whole game Krew laugh.gif

But yes thank you for your analysis. It's not thaaat close in the very end, right, I agree, but it could have been over as well at certain points.

Overall I would say this game is easily an 8.5/10. Seeing that matchup played by both teams even for me still is great when I rewatch the replay. Was a whole lot of fun, and considering that really uncommon matchup considering all that action, all these baseswaps and also considering the game was that long and entertaining until the end, I still would say if one replay on Fallen Empire deserves a HoF status then this is a hot contender. It is nearly 400kb!

Go to the HoF, watch the 2v2's in there and tell me if they are (one exception) EVEN ANY CLOSE to this in all aspects wink.gif

Guess I watched most of em and yh, I think they mostly contain more "HOF-worthy" stuff.. Marco, u know I'm not that demanding and I can't be but imo this game is really nice to watch and not more sry..

You didn't watch them then, there is only one good 2v2 game on Tournament Tundra, beeing an army-wise onesided cc vs cc.

All others are not really even average for todays standards but anyways.. I would say we will never ever see any more games in the HoF sad.gif

nvm - just for now - enjoy this replay smile.gif
