Time to get excited! A few days ago community member
-aka-JRisUber- donated $100 to see a tournament on two of his favourite maps: Final Crusade and Sand Serpent.
Let's have a closer look at the event:
Requirements
- You have an account on Gamereplays.org
- You are not suspended or banned on Gamereplays.org
The Format
- Each Round will be played in a Bo9. The Finals are going to be played in a Bo11
- The first three matches have to be played on Final Crusade (Fixed Version) DOWNLOAD MAP,
the next four on Sand Serpent (Fixed Version) DOWNLOAD MAP.
From that point on, loser picks next map
.
- All Games have to be played on Revora. If connection doesnt work, a network tunnel program can be used as Fallback choice under the condition, that Gentool upload mode is turned on and working for every match. By working we mean that the upload mode is able to upload the screenshots to the Gentool Server
- Each round has to be played in 1 week
- The games are Random vs Random unless both players agree to play a certain matchup. If you can't agree on a match up, you will have to play random.
- Single-Elimination Tournament
The prizes
- 1st place: $ 123
- 2nd place: $ 60
- 3rd place: $ 30
(Paid through PayPal only)
We kept the name of the tournament since it was a $100 tournament when it was announced by
-aka-JRisUber-.
Sponsors:
To spice things up -aka-JRisUber- offers to give $25 more to the player who wins the tournament and streamed or recorded all of his matches of all Rounds in a First Person Video which is then uploaded to Youtube or a similar Video Website for public view, so that the community can watch the winner in full action from his player perspective while playing the matches. Important to note however: if the recording cause lags, we advise you to continue the tournament without recording, for obvious reasons. If you decide to record your matches, it is recommended that you play a test match before you start the round to see if it lags or not.
He also throws in another $5 to whoever knocks off Size and Herb.
All Games must be played using the anti-cheat program GenTool with upload mode
ON to make sure the replays are saved in case your opponents forget to do so.
You can download the latest version of Gentool on its
Official Website. If you have any problems with the program, ask in the
Zero Hour Tech Support Forum.
What will happen if a game ends in a disconnect, crash or mismatch? If the game mismatches or someone disconnects, the game will have to be re-played unless there was a clear winner at the point that the game ended. In this case that player will be awarded the victory. If you are unable to agree on this, upload the replay and a tournament referee will decide.
How do I report my games? All games need to be uploaded into the announcement topic that will be posted when the $100 Tourny begins. It is therefore very important that you save ALL your replays, wins AND losses.
What should I do if I have any problems/questions?Just send a PM to
cncHD.
See you on the Battlefield!
