Guarding Rocket Pods
The Rocket Pod upgrade enables Comanches to unleash a barrage of missiles onto a certain spot causing a great deal of damage onto a small area. While this is very destructive against buildings, versus a clever opponent who spreads his units out and doesn't stay still it isn't so useful. However with the use of guard mode you can use the rocket pods like an extra set of missiles! Your Comanches' will automatically fire their rocket pods directly at any unit which comes within the guarding area. Even better is the fact that after killing say a quad they will preserve the remains of the barrage, eliminating another flaw with using the ability manually, and move onto the next unit within the area. Once the rocket pod is empty they will switch to their regular missiles and guard like they usually would.
To execute this:
First highlight your Comanches and order them to rocket pod a random spot out of their range.
While they're on their way to rocket barrage select guard mode by either clicking on the icon or using the hotkey 'G' and place the guard over the units you actually want to attack.
And now they'll successfully use their rocket pods in conjunction with guard mode.
