Review by Renegade:

GLA vs Stealth, Size vs Herb. The final game for the ticket to play the finals.
Two of the best players actually in ZH. Two different strats. One thing they share: Great skills.
Watch out who will win this final game and take the step into the final.
The "Underdog" Herb with his Stealth or the warrior of ZH, Size...





Size

  • Nice fast Oil catch.
  • You spred out really quick and managed to get most of the bunkers/Map control.
  • I really like your gamestyle. Instead of teching up fast you usually spam from several Arms Dealers.
  • No big float the whole game



Herb

  • Your start was flawless.
  • Nice harass with the Techs and Terrorists to stop the unsave supply from SIze.
  • Good "Counter" catch with the second oil.
  • You should pay more attention on your supplies. Your save and unsave were collecting with 3 and 4 workers for quite a long time.
  • The way you defended your base short after getting the palace was really on point. Your Bus micro was perfect.
  • Your transition to Buggys were to late
  • It looked like you lost your focus on the game in the end ( Was late maybe?) ( 10k float, Only 1 Arms Dealer)
Final words:

Really intense and nice GLA gameplay by both players. Not many mistakes but great skills and nice micro/macro. Both deserved to win this game and the Semifinals. I guess this will become a Silver Replay.

Herb could win this game but he floated too much.


Well if you don't spend your Money then you can't deal with incoming armies. Herb built palace in time which is nice. His income was much more better than Size. He had to make 2 arms dealer and 2 barrack for battle bus spam. Or he could have spam hijackers to deal Size's armies like from 3 barrack and more demo traps. He made 2 scud storm but couldn't even defend them because he was busy with floating. Anyway gg, excellent performance from Size

Closing thought:

Herb had such a sick opening, 4 supplies an oil and taking down SiZe's second supply early on, I fell this was his game to win. Maybe the times zone and the amount of games in this series put a huge strain on HerB and to pull out such a good game while exhausted is awesome. Well played both, GG.
