Rules and Formalities
Gameplay
This is a
single elimination tournament, it means that you need to
win your matchup to continue.Seeding
Seeding will be done through random assignment after registration, once all
32 players have signed up.
Match Result Reporting
After the winner of each round has been determined, it is the responsibility of the winner to report the victory to a referee and post the result and the replay(s) in the specified results thread. Please save your replay(s) in case there is a dispute about the result! Once there are only four players remaining, matches will be refereed and the replays saved automatically.
Out-of-Sync (OOS) Errors
In case of a desync or out-of-sync error, the following policy applies: You must save the replay, and a tournament staff member will review the replay. If there is a clear winner, that player will advance. If not, the match will be replayed. The staff member's decision is final and non-negotiable, and failure to comply with the decision may jeopardize your eligibility for future tournaments. Repeated OOS errors in relation to a particular player may indicate abuse. Should this occur, the player in question may be disqualified and banned from future tournaments.
Cheating/Disconnecting/Dispute Resolution
All reports and issues will be resolved by the tournament manager and the referees. Please save a replay for officials to review. Cheating and intentional disconnecting will result in exclusion from the tournament and a ban from future tournaments hosted by
GameReplays.org. Poor sportsmanship may also result in disqualification from the tournament.
Being Late
Players that do not show up within 15 minutes of their allocated match time will be disqualified. At this point, an alternate player will replace his/her position, or the opponent will advance. Players are expected to continue playing until eliminated or until the end of the tournament is reached. Failure to play rounds in an expedient manner may result in disqualification.
Registration
If you accept the above rules and wish to participate in this tournament, please go to the
Tournament System and register, inputting the online ID that you will use for the tournament.
Please do not sign up if you are not 100% sure that you will be attending the tournament.
Do not post your sign-up request in the tournament discussion thread because it
will be ignored there. Entries are only accepted via tournament system.
If something comes up and you are unable to attend the tournament, please drop out of the tournament via the tournament system at once so that your slot may be reallocated to another player.
We hope to see you in the
1vs1 October Tournament Discussion!
