To watch a replay Download the replay from GameReplays and save it to the following folder: C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\My Docmuents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Replays (where 'USERNAME' is the name corresponding to the user login on your computer). From here, you have three options: 1. Double click the replay and it will launch the game, and load the replay 2. Launch the game then go to Multiplayer -> Replays 3. Start -> Programs -> Electronic Arts -> Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars -> Control Center, and navigate to the replay manager in the control center. If you have replays of older versions of the game, you can launch them by double clicking on them, or from the control center. To upload a replay Click on the "Upload" link in the replay system menu, browse to your replays directory (C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\My Docmuents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Replays,where 'USERNAME' is the name corresponding to the user login on your computer), and select the file you wish to upload. Fill in all of the necessary information, and hit submit. To save a replay from a game you just played C&C 3 automatically saves the game you have just played. It asks you if you want to save your replays after each game by pressing Save Replay. If you want to organize your replays yourself, you can still do that. C&C 3 records the game and stores it locally, making a file called 'Last Replay.cnc3replay', and it puts that file in the following folder: C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\My Docmuents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Replays It always uses 'Last Replay' as a file name, which means it replaces the replay each new game you play. So in order to save your replays, you have to go in and change the file name or move the file. To make it easy to get to the folder once you have found it, we suggest making a shortcut to it, and place it on your desktop or something so you can access it quickly and easily.
There are two ways to watch older replays. 1. You can double click on the old replay file to automatically launch C&C 3 and start playing it. 2. You can go to Start -> Programs -> Electronic Arts -> Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars -> Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars Control Center. Once the control center is up, hit the right facing arrow on the bottom right and then click on "Replay Browser". All replays will be listed, and you can then launch one of the replays from there.
You fast forward by pressing the period key (dot). Note, fast forwarding can cause the replay to pause and appear to freeze for a couple of moments and the best way to avoid this is pause the game, leave it for a few minutes, and then return.
The main list of replays is broken down into two categories: Member Replays, and Popular Member Replays. The Member Replays list is where all newly submitted replays go, the Popular Member Replays list is where replays are moved to once they receive enough wubs (this number varies from game to game). The purpose of this is to make it easy to find replays that are worth watching. An active game section can have a deluge of replays posted each day, and it can often be challenging to find replays that are worthwhile. The popular list acts as a filter for the better replays. Wubbing (love -> luv -> wuv -> wub) is how you determine popularity. If you like a replay, simply wub it, and your vote will get counted towards its popularity.
All Replays This is where ALL of the replays are located. Everything is in here, and split between Member Replays and Popular Member Replays. Any time you want to go back to the main replay list, just click this link in the menu. The Popular Member Replays list is sorted by date of popularity. That is, the replays which just became popular start at the top, with the oldest popular replays at the bottom. The Member Replays list is sorted differently. It's sorted by whatever the last action was: wubbed, submitted, or replied to. A newly submitted replay will always start at the top, but if an older replay is wubbed or replied to, it will be "bumped" back to the top. Upload This is where you upload replays. Simply follow the instructions and you'll be all set. Hall of Fame The Hall of Fame is where you can find the very best replays. These are replays that were voted in by the community, and they represent some of the most skillful and entertaining replays around. This list is sorted by Last Post, which makes the list behave more like a forum. The discussion-friendly nature of this list makes it easy to see what replays people are currently interested in discussing. Note that the Hall of Fame replays are still accessible from the All Replays list. eSports Replays (coming soon) This page lists all replays from major events & tournaments. The list can be filtered by each event, allowing you to quickly find replays from the major gaming events that GameReplays covers. This list is sorted by event, with the newest events at the top. Note that the eSports replays are still accessible from the All Replays list. Expert Replays The expert replays list makes it easy to find the replays from GameReplays members who are designated to be experts by the community and staff. This list is sorted by Last Post, and the replays are also accessible from the All Replays list. Shoutcasts (coming soon) The shoutcasts list is a list of shoutcasts, rather than replays. Clicking on one will bring you to the shoutcast page of the associated replay. It's a convenient way to see which replays have received shoutcasts. This list is sorted from newest to oldest. Search (coming soon) The search link provides access to a power search engine that makes it easy to find any specific combination of information you want. Search for any replays on a certain map, all the way down to a specific matchup between specific players on a specific map at a specific date....well, you get the idea. The possibilities are endless. My Stuff My Stuff makes it easy to keep track of your activity and contributions to the replay system. You can easily find your own replays, see your reviews and how much feedback they have, and find your comments.
Anyone can write reviews! All you have to do is click on the "Write a Review" box on a replay's page to write a review for that replay. You can select your score, a summary phrase, and format your review any way you like. The characterization icons are another means to summarize the qualities of the replay. Images and BBcode are allowed. Other members are then able to rate your review by liking or disliking it. If you write an accurate, well formatted review, people will like it. If you write a poor review, people will dislike it. The liking/disliking system makes it easy for others to see which reviews are worth reading, and which ones the community thinks are not worth it.
Hall of Fame replays are automatically nominated once they receive a certain number of wubs (this 4x the number needed to become popular), and are then voted on by the community in a week-long poll. If after one week 70% of the votes are in favor of the replay being added to the Hall of Fame, then the replay will be updated with Hall of Fame status, and the poll will be closed. We will play with the numbers until we reach a target of roughly 1% of all replays making it into the Hall of Fame.
In the recent days there have been several new features and changes to GameReplays.org. Some much larger than others, allowing for some of the less obvious, but still important features to be overshadowed. One of these features is every members ability to add "Tags" to almost anything produced on GameReplays.org, even this!
What is a Tag?
Many of you may be wondering what exactly a Tag is. Systems like this are being introduced on many sites as it is a very effective way to sort content. Tags are words and phrases that should sum up what kind of information is in a particular piece of content. The system is programmed to display four or five related pieces of content at the end of each page of content. If you have never seen this feature the screenshot below displays it highlighted with a red box.
When you apply a Tag to a piece of content on GameReplays.org it is saved even if it does not appear on the list. If you want to make sure just click the "Show All Tags" button. If it has been submitted by other members prior to your submit, it will make that particular tagged word appear bolder and it will sort higher in the related content area as it is likely that a good tag word or phrase is both accurate and not related to something obscure in the piece of content.
How do I Tag Content?
If you want to add a tag or tag phrase to a piece of content you must follow these simple steps. Once you have decided what tag(s) you would like to add select the "Add Tags" button. This will bring up a box where you can enter your selected tag phrases.
Once you have entered the desired tags that you separated with commas select the "Save Tags button." If the piece of content has not been tagged previously your tags will display on the front page of the tags, however if there have been other tags you may not see yours. If you submit your tags correctly and everything functions as planned you will see a screen like the one below.
If you submitted a tag incorrectly or one that did not follow the guidelines for the Tag system you will see an error page like the one below. The rules for the tagging system are as follows as they are difficult to see in the screenshots. Please enter your tags, separated by commas, maximum 250 characters total, 30 per phrase, 3 words per phrase max.
Note: The system will also give you the reason why the Tags were not accepted which can also be seen at the bottom of this screenshots.
Why should I Tag?
As members of the GameReplays.org Community you are not required to use any of the features that we provide for you however these features can improve the way that everyone finds good content. If everyone makes a habit of tagging content after they read it, it will make finding content that you are interested much easier. Although Tagging content does not bring any direct benefit to you, if you tag the content you read you will be helping every other member who reads the particular piece of content after you. Who knows maybe the next time you go to read a piece of content you will be helped by others tags.

In order to avoid spam, each tag needs to be entered by a minimum of two different people. So if player A submits a tag called "tank", that tag also needs to be submitted by player B before it shows up.
To view all of your replays, go to any replay you've uploaded and click the link in the upper right of the replay details box.
This will bring you to a list of all the replays you've uploaded.
To see your reviews, go to any review you've written, and click on the link in the footer of the review:
The old replay system effectively had five kinds of "featured" replays. Replay of the Week Gold Silver Expert Popular There was far too much redundancy. Popular replays were effectively the same thing as silver replays anyway. Replay of the Week is no longer a featured replay, but has been replaced with a "Most popular replay for the week of...." replay on the home page of each game portal. It's still the replay of the week, but it's automatically selected by the system. If you've noticed, all of the featured replays are now automated or powered by the community in some way, and don't depend on Replay Reviewer staff to promote them. The reason for this is with the new public reviewing system, there is no longer a need for dedicated replay staff, thus no means of manually selecting and promoting replays. That is not to say there won't be any replay staff, but there will certainly not be enough to maintain silver, gold, and replay of the week.
Like the changes to the RoTW/Gold/Silver, we made the conscious decision to remove some of the other features we felt made the system too cumbersome and complicated. An example would be the whole filtering system. This is now replaced by the menu system, which makes it far easier to find the major categories of replays. The search system is only gone temporarily, and will return in a future iteration.

The replay leaderboard should not be confused with a ladder. It does not track your performance or win/loss ratio. Instead, it's simply a tool that ranks members based on how many good replays they've uploaded. There is no decay, which means it will always maintain your statistics. The points for each game may be different, but generally speaking you will earn 1 point for each replay you upload, and two points for each wub a replay receives. So if a replay earns 20 wubs because it's really good, then that's the equivalent of uploading 40 replays! The system is designed to reward quality over quantity, but it still rewards you for quantity as well (in a small way).
