Why complain about NOD recks when most GDI players go to Support class?? I see it all the time and quite often. How will you deal with them, what units will you use, and how will you avoid feeding points?
Same patterns I always see:
GDI Support > Kodiak > Paladin or Thunhead > Paladin (Pal.mostly + spanners/sup pow.) vs. vs. vs. NOD Support > Basilisk > Basilisk >??? what class to use to kill them and what units??
I do not want to hear anymore complaining about recks. I do have more replays to show you guys about this common pattern/behavior.

Paladins are the reason why I always keep my venoms till the end. But I agree, without venoms or recks with high confessors you really look bad versus paladins, basilisks are no solution. People who say that full basilisk spam wins versus full paladin spam talk trash, it wouldn't even make sense due to the counter system - except you are really bad with paladins. Another way is a marauder/tyrant mix, but on this map the GDI support could retreat too easily over the cliffs.
Edit: Was good game, I enjoyed playing GDI support for the almost first time in a while.

MANTIS POWER !!!!!
Yeah sure....that doesnt do a thing! just like stealth tanks... Paladins with anti-rockets. stealth tanks have more better chance then mantis... by holding in missiles and release all at once and hold it in again and release it. Still, that's not the best option.

actually the best option to kill paladin is not missile when they are in anti missile mode laser kill them much faster marauder+ tyrant for t2 vs t2 if you do MoK with tyrant you know what happen

*agreeing with you, but not always easy. Tyrant die easily by support powers/ tanks and etc. Its all depend who youre against.
My setup was to build build commando + bunch of s-tanks + scorpions and made them heroic if possible. Then I tried to micro as much as possible and set them in large area if there was 1vs1 situation to avoid offensive sp:s.
I started harassing spanners(main focus) and paladins(secondary)with s-tanks + scorpions and crawler with commando(+my own crawler if it seemed suitable). Main thing was to keep pressure on every unit and keep node control at the same time. This forced enemy usually: -changing to kodiaks -> pointless because of laser units -retreat and change class -> takes time -call help ->more pain to me if somebody came, because normally nobody backed me up xD
I guess a Def crawler with nuke would have helped the cause of NOD but nobody was def in tire-III, some structures at node 1 may have helped against the thunderheads free run over the clif.......
