I know that you all like the standard maps for all modes (Fords of Isen, Anorien, Lebennin, OBL), but has anyone tried the new maps and wants to give feedback?

We can adjust them and make them better if there is anything you can think of. The Winter Tournament 2013 was played exclusively on the 2-player maps listed above and it was (from my point of view) a very interesting tournament.

The main problem about new maps, is zoom, if you can create a better tool to zoom out i think there are interesting new maps. Anotehr thing is that someone is to big, but i like in general. Is a good work.
Fords of brunien is crap since it has 2 choke points small enough to be blocked by a single unit.
Carrock is totally imbalanced from different spots from what I remember and also looks very poor (most of the maps from what I have seen are pretty good aesthetically but this one isn't). Can't speak for the others. I would comment that none of these maps are made by anyone with competitive/high level experience so generally I would assume they are all unbalanced. If you are into fixing things though, and if you ever expect to have QM up and running then maybe you could fix Rohan so that the two middle farms are either central or one is closer to the bottom spot.
