This is my first shoutcast ev3r. Enjoy, and feel free to give me any feedback you feel would help my presentation.
I'll probably be focusing more on the less popular replays to begin with, just to get some practice. After that though, I definitely wouldn't mind co-casting at some point if anybody is interested.
also, where's the actual audio? you only posted the replay bud
Will leave this visible for a bit to give you a chance to upload the audio
Only for a bit? Please Cadmus. Give Otawatom a little bit of more time so he can upload his first shoutcast, so i can have for the first time a replay of mine shoutcasted
Heh... heh... well, that's embarrassing. Re: the number, I thought you had to label the # as the shoutcast number you've personally completed. I was wondering how the hell some of the people posting in this forum had 1,500 sc/vc apiece. I mean... that's a LOT of shoutcasting.
Makes much more sense to me now, though.
Alright, uploaded. Sorry for the clicking sounds of using my keyboard/mouse to look around the map. Wasn't really paying attention to the position of my microphone (going to move it to the other side of the desk, next time).
I think I failed some of the time-syncs too. Couple of times I lost my train of thought. I thought it was 'aight on the whole, though. Ah, well. Still, hit me up with any advice you've got.

By making mistakes, you will improve yr skills like everyone else. Just keep it up
I cant wait for the weekend to listen to your first shoutcast of my first wubbed replay
Good SC, was a little mono-tone at the beginning but it picked up more towards the end.
Some of the constructive criticism that I received on my first few casts:
-dont pause so much -dont say uhhh all the time -crappy vid quality/bad games -talk more about strats
Not that you did that per say, but try to catch yourself from doin those things But yea, keep it up you'll get better with time it doesn't happen overnight.
nice shoutcast and a good game, lots of back and forth action. I also love Commandos, so I guess that helped. The skirmish for control over the 88 was fun to follow as well.
Right off the bat I can't think of any major mistakes or things that you need to work on. The list of things Greatness put down should work as a guideline. I thought you managed to do them all well this cast though, so more of the same plz
Ah well, maybe I'll get things right next time >_<
Thanks for all the encouragement, guys. I'll try to work on the points you brought up and keep developing the stuff I did well (which, let's face it, was everything - hahaha, kiddin'). If there's ever a match of yours, or someone you know, that you'd like me to shoutcast, feel free to hit me up.

I know. Thats why I admit that I am a noob, but I'll garantee you that I won't be for too long, despite that I only play on the weekends. A good player comes with practice and game experience.
Awesome vid, Jim. You maneuvered around the map in such a similar way that I am now probably going to start wearing a tinfoil hat, as well as searching my computer for monitoring devices.
Edit: I would like to point out that Kilombo peaked at 520 CPM around the 28 minute mark. I don't even think I can type that fast.
Hm well, thats because he's a blobber.
CPM=commands per minute. (in the coh-ra) He had 7-10 squads at that time. When he selects them all and clicks somewhere thats 7-10 commands with one click. If you do the math that would be 1 click per second.
And stunn nades are for Blitzkrieg Doctrine. But KCH get them for free
Nice shoutcast so far but i will stop listening now (at 30 mins) because the game is just to boring. 2 blobs just sitting there, no agression, no nice micro.
Edit: Ok i continued watching. Action tightened up a bit in the 2nd half. Still not the best. @ whoever posted the replay: better dont spoil the end in the replay title/description.
@ Ottawatom: as i said, nice shoutcast. You might consider doing a little outro-strat discussion or talk about strats/tactics in general a bit more. Now i will move on and watch your next

For comparison, I usually average about 40 in my games.
That is all.
