I found this game a while back and it mysteriously disappeared from GR. I put it back up on GR for this SC. I'm still really sick so we brought in the big guns, a Guest shoutcast.
"Put little dots next to all the murders, the Deputy likes dots" - Major Rawls -Huge advancement in keeping SCs entertaining (for us), the Pineapple/fruits game -Guest Shoutcaster ZOMG! -Epic Nades -Amazing Sniper - LOUD Cheetos - Extended Outtakes (a la The Operation Post)
Disclaimer: Sorry about all the noise, someones headphones were too loud and I couldnt edit it out. This may be the last one for a little while, so take it easy and enjoy!
Edit: Can someone edit out OP from the title plz. Thats what i get for copy and pasting the thread title.

yay. i enjoyed the game. there wasn't constant action, but the bundle nades were soo cool <3. the micro issue came from the "new" guy, because he was the only one without echo when i heard it right xD
too bad this was the last one cant wait for the continue
Vid will be up tomorrow...did some catching up today on vids... Edit: I just noticed that you guys used copyrighted music, I'm not supposed to make a vid for you.
Boo.
It's not copyright infringement until you get caught.
wasn't me in this shoutcast i have no idea who it was and im talking to my lawyer team here at Gosu Inc., they will be in contact with all parties involved soon
im sorry for the cheetos but i was hungry and o well idk what to say....
i just listened to it and beside the very beginning its really not bad at all and you really dont notice it/hear it so....
we learned that 3 ppl in a shoutcast is hard, i just kind of sat back and didnt talk as much this game and i didnt feel like we hit the in-depth strategy issues that we usually do

It gets easier as you do more of 'em. We're doing the same thing over in OP land - sometimes I sit back and let the boys rap, sometimes I'm refocusing on the game when the discussion goes over to amusing anedcotes over turtles and OLEG.
Two of the main things I like and think about in shoutcasting are:
1) Excitement/color = get the audience cranked! If you listen to the official GR "trailer" before many of the games, it's all people saying "HOLY CRAP THAT WAS AWESOME", not "I believe the choice to spend 260 manpower at this junction on a 3rd MG was not the optimal move, given...." It's fun to crank up the intensity of the game by getting excited - put that energy in! Here's where you declare the american player just got "Bundlefucked" by that last stormie nade.
2) Analysis: The "dry" part of the cast where you do analyze exactly why that MG was such a mistake. This is incredibly valuable, especially when you have high level players (such as yourselves) commenting on the game. If you want to push the cast in this direction, don't just offer your opinion, solicit it from others - "Hey Blue, what do you think the American should do right now?" "Do you like his teching choice of <X>". Throwing questions to other SC'ers in your group helps control the chaos that can erupt otherwise. If you have one guy who's directing traffic to two other experienced players, you can get them participating if they've been quiet. Always start the question with the player who's response you want, instead of asking the question in an undirected style for either guy to pick up on.
That said, I've SC'd many less games than you guys, so I'm no expert. I find I cast differently (more #2) when I'm with just Cindex, and more #1 when I'm with Cindex/Beard. Everyone's got their energy, and you find ways to fit in.

Yeah I'm sorry too I was having a bad day and I have this (don't know the english word for it) thing about eating sounds.
I can't even eat in the same room with my wife anymore unless there's a lot of ambient sounds or music in the background.
So I guess... it isn't you, it's me. Time to seek therapy!
