Match Overview: This game though it ends fast, could show others how to effectively rush, and how not to counter a rush. It was worth downloading and watching. [FPUF] BrainPower Ok, so you started out with signs of fast economy and expansion, I also note that your deck was not a rush deck at all, the fact you lost this so soon, is evidence of a poor deck, bad micro and a bit of an odd build order. Tips for Improvement: • Less economy, if he rushes you and destroys all of it, then there is no reason to do that! • Poor deck, if you 1v1 someone, knowing that they will rush you in some way, having an economy deck and a team battle deck, is going to hurt you more than help • Why start the way you did? You should consider balancing your settlers out, to be able to use the land, when he rushed you and you lost ½ of your settlers, that was your main issue. Perhaps if you had at least rebuilt them, hid them in TC, or perhaps used them, instead of them being sitting ducks. • Finally, your micro was not what it should be, make sure to check your mini map, it would indicate more than just scrolling/browsing the map. Help can be found here AngryIrishMan78 Outstanding game by you, you ridiculed him with an excellent rush, I admit you are a rare one, not many can wipe out an opponent so easily 1v1 on GP. Nonetheless you did, and you annihilated him. You had two small flaws though. Tips for Improvement: • Main issue was cash float, which is a term used when you are not making enough coin or not using it well (in this case, it is both) and you should reconsider your economy after mid game. Coin is valuable. • Secondary issue, this map, Great Plains, gives your faction a huge advantage, you used this well early game, but you did not take advantage of it again til late game. Rating: 3 Additional Comments- Well played by AngryIrishMan78, many could stand to learn from him. |
