How many times did that Ork run straight into the HB squad without trying to flank it? OMG so frustrating to watch. Not sure why he went with that BO too.
The ork player made a lot mistakes but used some good tactics. I think the tac with flames was what made the win. The Warboss could have been used more as a meatshield. The biggest mistakes of the ork was to retreat too soon a lot of times and to atk the enemy heads on without tryng to flank.
Scuz, thanks for casting, I really enjoyed this match. Overall I like your commentary style and appreciate your insights into strategy and counters. I have some suggestions to DOWII casters, that are not really specific to you Scuz, but apply to most casts I watch:
Don't call it too early - a lot of casters get bored or annoyed if one side has a large advantage some even stop talking once a comeback seems impossible. Most viewers are going to watch the commentary to the end so try to keep it interesting for us. I think the end of the game is one of the most fun parts to watch, because of all the high-tech units on the field. If victory has become a forgone conclusion, then give us some cool camera angles to watch the massacre.
Keep it positive - It's a good idea to point out player mistakes (missed micro, building wrong unit etc.), but don't dwell too much on them. Some casters will go on for 5 or 10 minutes, agonizing over a player who's failing to build the right counter - it can get tedious for listeners. These players are trying their best after all, and every match has a loser, so try not to make the whole cast critical.
Some people will probably disagree with those suggestions - just my personal taste.
Again thanks Scuz, and thanks to all the casters who post in the Dawn of War II section.

+1
great cast scuz remember to put up the audio for the australians who have download limits tho, this time i just watched it anyways interesting that the SM built the units the ork had counters for. i guess that allows him to predict exactly what the ork will attept to do, and counter it with micro.
i think if the ork wanted to go nobs for his t3, a wartruck would have been a good investment. forcing the SM to go missle on his tacs, and if the wartruck survives, it's great support for the nobs. tho, melta bombs and advanced targeting could have taken it out. hard to say. bleeding those squads on sneak caps was pretty hard on the ork, and not having a big shoota and heavy armour for his WB was pretty brutal. ahhh well. still very good play, i really liked seeing the rocket boys put to more use~ i think they are an udervalued unit. probably because the comparison people make to the ASM's jump abilty. gg and thanks again scuz
the Vods are meh now, we all can assume the SM ALWAYS wins against orks if he vods them and now it's getting bland
not necessarily true ...I do user submitted replays so I don't know who is going to win straight away... I'm gonna just do a few good game's this week....
