yeah fucking TDs need to be nerfed, release unit immediately, and dont lose the path where they were going.

About the game: pretty sloppy played, Mendel, but you managed to win anyway

Yeah I am slow. So now you know why I play empire and why I can never get to the top. I can use weird strategies and trick plays to beat even top players occasionally because empire is a strong faction with good units and I know how to use those units and in which situations. Only my execution/micro is lacking because I'm like 10 years older than most guys playing this game, I tunnel vision when things get exciting and my click rates/apm are slow.

I need to acknowledge that and I can still enjoy the game. In this particular match I was maybe a little bit exaggeneratedly bad though because it was the only game I played that night (that's why I typed in I'm rusty) after doing a lot of video editing and I was a bit tired but wanted to play a match.

I do usually put up a dojo in my base vs sov but I'm not sure if I could have handled the tds with iws in this matchup because of all the sickles... Maybe the first two sickles could have been killed with bds.

And a good one it turned out to be!

Btw, how old are you Mendel? I am 22 for example, but in my opinion my micro still sucks, I dunno what others think about it though

How the heck do you succeed without hotkeys?!?!

I ask this myself too

As soon as i found this wonderful site, i immediately started to use hotkeys and getting used to them, without hotkeys I am like without arms or legs in the game

Well I obviously use some hotkeys like q,w... f obviously s a couple times in the end to make a tengu wait for a terror drone to pop out of war factory... maybe your referring to hotkeys to change tabs between structures and defensive structures building? I don't use those, dunno why really. I do sometimes use groups, just not in this game. Maybe you mean F1-F9? I know I should learn to use them but it's just not so intuitive to me because I want to click the individual units from the list and I forget which number is which... I do use F1-etc for making buildings though. I dunno maybe I could learn it if I forced myself to...

but yeah I'm open to tips and trick wrt hotkeys.

You are saying same thing as me . I also cant get used to a normal mouse setup for exaxmple or control groups, even if you kill me , lol

I customized my hotkeys a ton and use all of the buttons left of "j." The only clicking I do is moving my army and placing a building. I don't know about you but I got 100% better with just switching to building and structure hotkeys alone. It really does save huge time. It was super awkward at first but now it's all in the muscle memory.

Pretty sure I play like a chimpanzee without them.
