yeah yeah please, no doctrines or other arcade stuff... and these trenches remind me of the goddamn brits in the other game. i like the sandbags here in mow, i hope that it wont be an insta-trench. but the dogs sound funny biggrin.gif

and this will be an expansion or standalone? will it be compatible with mow or split the community (i hope not)? and whats the difference between heroes badge and this? when you speak of exclusive testing, is it for this or for a new patch? now im totally confused.

I like the idea of trenches, where you don't have silly modifiers and accuracy buff/de-buffs. It's the best way to prevent artillery strikes, just hop into a trench and prone.

Well, from playing the SP campaign I can tell the trenches are by no mean like the Brit ones on CoH. I mean, there are enough tools to get some "trench toast".

Many things come to mind when i'm reading this happy.gif and also the destructive impact it had, when released in CoH sad.gif

if all the woes and crys are coming from having CoH-like trenches, fear not. Remember MoW does not apply ridiculous buffs to units in cover. All cover does is physically block shots from hitting them. A mortar will completely devastate a trench if a shot lands in it, and a grenade or two will be equally effective at clearing them.

I don't think there's anything to fear from this, and as far as doctrines... I can't imagine them doing that. stop worrying! smile.gif

Actually, I'm not too much surprised by trenches. A lot of people had been trying to mod them in, so I guess that was the developpers noticing the community's interests in such.

Beside, BTRH back in the Soldiers: Heroes of WW2 days, already had explosives to dig foxholes.
