Hey,

I was looking for the old HoF games when I read some comments in the Robin vs Nubbe game.
I found out a post from Nubbe related to an APM machine who works very well. It actually counts all the mouse click + keyboard usage once you start it.
I tried it in some 2v2's and 1v1's and there is absolutly no lag.

Basically its very simple, you just have to download, dezip, open main file and its done, then you need to press CTRL + SHIFT + P when you want to start it (at end of loading screen most likely) and same for stopping it at end of game.

I think its a very usefull tool, so you can see what's your strenghts and weak points about your micro/macro.
It should helps newbies too so they have references so they can compare their APM and APM's from pro players.

Here I post 2 games I played with marco against Bahumat and Ownage Samet and the graphics of my gameplay just for an example.

These graphics reveals that my keyboard APM isn't good, (which I knew) cause I don't use it for producing units, on another hand I compense with mouse.

Had a look at mine on zh a while ago, realised that you really don't need a high apm to play well on generals. I'd be just as good at 150 as I was at 200. I've got no idea what your doing to get an apm of 510 10 seconds into a game

These comparing apm's always just lead to people playing games and clicking pointlessly to look 'pro' anyways.

it dont work in the game for me, on desktop yes, but when i open the game it record nothing

I don't see how this shall help noobs. Certainly, if you have a apm of about 20, then something is wrong. You should achieve a minimum, but to compare it with "pros" and when you get the same amount you'll on their level is just not true at all.

You have to close the graphics so you can record again.

apm´s doesnt mean much in ccg, still intresting.

I don't need no machine to count my apm I can do it with one hand!

@ squaak i tryed it allready but it dont work, like i said on desktop it count the clicks and in the game not, i have that with some programms, maybe aceton blocks it.

You started the programm, clicked on start, minmized it, switched to CCG, pressed strg + shift + p in the game?

yes, it made a beeeb sound at start and end, it dont recorded, i tryed again on desktop and it worked but like i said some other programms like my g11 driver dont work aswell in ccg.

Can someone explain further? Why is this beneficial? It just records all your mouse and keyboard actions in a game?

APM is a measure of skill, the more, the merrier. Then again you can't compare, say, 200 apm in CCG to 200 in SC, simply because CCG lacks macro (which doesn't require much apm) as well as heavy unit micro. Just consider this CCG tool a virtual penis enlargement pill.
