I'd love those little golden stripes back! They fit into unit icons so nicely... What's your opinion?

It was to be compatible with CoH online I guess... but currently it just looks like shit for pretty much no reason. Bring back the old ones.

People have asked before, Relic has said no before. They aren't coming back, so don't bother. Furthermore, Relic altered the size of the area allotted to the vet icons back when they moved the weapon icons under the unit badges. There isn't room for the old ones now even if you wanted them.

Will not happen because Relic doesn't care the slightest and has no usability people on their development team. Likewise, vet icons on vehicles will continue not to be seen.

Yea this is just an example of how Relic is making things actually worse with certain patches. I'd also like the fuel and munitions indicator on OPs too.

Why couldn't they just resize the old stripes and put them horizontally or something... the white boxes are just a joke. Even dots would look better. Current icons just look like some toddler threw his legos on the floor.

Voting no, I do like the old veterancy symbols, but they were always difficult to notice for me, as they sat on the unit themselves. Despite the new ones being small little bricks sitting on the health bar, and not being as pretty, they serve the purpose they're supposed to while being far more noticeable.

First of all, CoHO and CoH are two seperate games; one is an MMORPG-RTS fusion and the other is pure RTS ...why would Relic make them compatible?

Did Relic actually say why they did this, or is it like the mg change, where they have some warped notion that the majority of players would actually like the shit they have now for vet icons?
