I was wondering for a long time, why GDI APC cant run over infantry while gunwalker can? Apc is slower and its weight feels bigger then gunwalker. Apc always cloud run over infantry..

because apc's have tires and gunwalkers have legs

becuase scrin would lose to manspam everything since they dont have a MBT at tier 1 and their MBT is slow

Idea of gunwalker crushing infantry suck, but removing it without giving Scrin REAL anti-infantry capabilities (especially vs BH manspam) is retarded idea.

Highly dependent on the faction, there. wink.gif vScrin gets Attenuated Forcefields, R17 gets Attenuated Forcefields AND Blue Shards for Shard Walkers. Only T-59 has no upgrade.

All i know is apc's could crush inf in tiberium dawn so that's all I know...

in tiberian dawn any vehicle could crush infantry (except for buggy and bike maybe).. but no vehicles could crush other vehicles

GDI can cope with a man spam without having a apc that can run over inf, if you take away the ability to walk on inf from the gunwalker, scrin wont be able to cope with man spam.

APC - can garrison infantry, lay mines, call for air transport, fire on the move.
GWalker - can crush infantry.

APC is already a super useful unit, no need to fix what's not broken.

APC = Less armor than Gunwalker, Shitty AntiAir, When was the last time you saw call to transport used for anything other than scouting? Mines are almost useless vs. Nod Factions and are easy to spot anyway.

Yeah, the fact alone that gunwalker has to stop shooting (except for targets directly in front of it I think) to be able to crush infantry is reasonable enough, and forementioned balance issues regarding scrin and manspam in general.
