BH vs GDI

HI ALL

BIKE, tell me how to ownz GDI when u r playing with BH.
ANyone have good replay to watch ?
Im confident in all other match up but that one no. It is pretty hard. I think GDI ownz BH in large map due to that sh it of HH. With them, u can control the map so ezily and they r so powerfull.

Well Tiepe, Panda made an excellent guide on the Black Hand Mantis. It's basically an unstealthed stealth tank on steroids, especially with Tiberium Core missiles. It shoots two volleys and I believe they have individual targeters (although I could be wrong on that one). There's quite no kill like overkill biggrin.gif.

Mantis' aren't that of a good choice unless you upgrade them to tib-core (although it depends on how much air units you are actually facing). Just make sure you have your Matnis on aggressive stance as there's a nasty fire-delay bug on it.

Mantis are deadly, even without tib core, picture a stealth tank x2, 1 rocket from a mantis is more powerful then 2 shots from a stealth tank without tib core, good mid game until vs anything air, makes more sense to build then than Sam turrets. smile.gif

You have to be aggressive with black hand, all GDI can do is spam and build units, then streamroll tho your base, so if you are extremely aggressive early game and base pushing early game, you might win, Black Hand will kill GDI within 5 minutes if you use them right.

According to my calculated stats in the aforementioned article, the Mantis is only slightly better than the Stealth Tank, roughly 10% based on damage output per second. Care to enlighten me on your source? biggrin.gif

It is, about 10% better. But don't be fooled, Stealth Tanks are beasts too when it comes to shooting upwards.

On that note, I do wonder whether the mantis is actually better since it overkills most any aircraft, save Ceramic Armor birds and PACs. Of course, they are cheaper, available at tier 2 and resist mind control so that's a plus smile.gif.

Traveler Pacs are really good with them tho, with that speed, even if all those little fighters are destroyed, they can run away faster and maybe make it alive.
