Well, it was put on hold when Bentguru left for a while, he's sorta back now but i don't think he'll do it anymore. You have to ask him for a real answer tough.
Just do the casts - there is no rule for who can do them. You need to do enough and talk to the right people to get the nifty badge under your avatar though
Who do i talk to if i want to be a Game Commentator? (that's what it's called, right?)
Me.

What is the battle for supremacy concept anyway? Anyone? Is it 1v1 etc?
King of the Hill was correct, it was a line-up of proven players going 1v1 and knocking each other out of the running with gamecasts done for each round. Unfortunately Bentguru, who was the one organizing it and generally masterminding the entire event, went inactive after recording the second round and it's never really picked back up.

K, i made my first shoutcast. It's very, very bad, but the reason im posting it is because i'd appreciate constructive criticism. This is from the blood sport tournament lokgar hosted last night.
ninja, should i have posted this in a seperate thread in the VoD section?

One tip - try positioning the mic on your headset at chin level / below your mouth, that way you won't be breathing into it directly. Also, you might want to increase the recording volume level - it's very quiet.
On the cast itself, try dwelling in one spot for a tiny bit longer when there's actual combat taking place or a very significant cap / decap / gen-harass, before moving on

You can if you'd like, just check the pinned topics for any guidelines first. It'll likely get more publicity and feedback that way. I'll see if I can round up Bentguru and have him take a gander at it, thanks.
or did i miss it?
