This ladder is not based off a point system whatsoever. A team moves up and down based on the difference between them and their opponent. This allows for new teams to be more accurately ranked faster than a point system allows. I predict that after 2 weeks this ladder should more accurately depict where teams stand than any other rankings currently available. I'll also take other elements into account that aren't reflected on standard ranking sites such as lack of starting 5, server advantage/disadvantage etc.
Ladder notes: - When a team wins they move up 50% the distance between them and their opponents. If 8th place beats 1st then 8th place becomes 4th. - Losing does not move you down the ladder. The only way to move down the ladder is to be hopped over. The only way for 1st to be dethroned is to lose to 2nd, although this will be manually adjusted if 1st place doesn't play 2nd place for more than a week and a change is deemed necessary. - This format will quickly produce an accurate and stable set of rankings.

Okay so I've figured out how I'll track changes. I'll take an imprint every Monday and compare it to the previous Monday to track movement. First imprint will be the 30th of January, after the 3rd Brawl qualifier and Infused have concluded it should make for a solid starting point.

Fire continues their run to number one and get there, beating the likes of dignitas and absolute legends (and everyone else) along the way, winning the major Infused tournament as well as becoming the 2nd qualified team in DRB. Western Wolves make big strides upwards after a very strong showing in the Infused tournament, beating GDT, xP, M5 and It's Gosu, eventually being knocked out by Fire. Mousesports nearly crack into Code S after defeating SK, xP and NEXT.kz to become the 3rd team qualified in DRB.

Dude, I dont' know where you got your ideas of competitive dota 2 but CLEARLY Team H is better than Team D. And Team B ranked near the top? Jokes son. Joke list, ban him from forums. And then from dota 2 AND 3
