This is not the best place to announce this lol. You would get nothing but negative comments from most ppl here. My favorite was 20 was too young to marry. Again, most ppl here are under 18, so what would you expect other than wishes for that marriage to fail.

Naf, ATRF is an important figure in this RoL community so I see nothing wrong with announcing his engagement. Everyone here respects ATRF because he deserves it.

Lol, i dont condemn his announcement. Im just saying that the gr community wouldnt be mature about its response to this. The negativity, such as the marriage being a future failure, are things to watch out for and ignore. Ppl are pretty mean on this website. They take serious topics and throw some sick humor on it. You can find it anywhere on any of the portals sadly.

But i agree w solar, the rol portal was the place to go. Plpl dont know you on other portals, but we all know you here. There was nothing 'hogging' about an engagement announcement (thats what the replays are for ) . Its nice of you shared that w us. Best of luck to you.

Marriage can be a great asset and yet a great thorn. It's up to the couple to choose between the two choices. Personally, I'm ambivalent towards marriage but I think I'll probably get married later in my 30's or something after I get my Phd lol. It's a bit unnerving to think about going through the late part of my life living alone in my house with someone who may not feel a solid obligation to maintain a relationship with me. But ehh, I'm 16 so what the heck... I ain't close to thinking about marriage.
