I've often had minor issues with browsing GR using Firefox, but today it consistently began locking up and crashing; I tried different parts of GR and various other websites, but it stills seems to be an issue only with this site and everywhere in it. I have this page loaded up on IE right now, zero issues.

The only topic I could find on this suggested creating a new profile in firefox, but that didn't change a thing. Seeing as I've never had a browsing issue this specific, I'm quite confused as to what to do. :\

I don't know what version you are using, but since the recent 3.5-3.6b there seems a lot of problems with it hanging in general, I never used to have problems at all until these recent verisons, so I uninstalled and went back to version 3.0.15 and everything is now running properly and all the add-ons work, some didnt work in 3.5-3.6

Its funny there latest beta release has 190 fixes, damn thats beginning to sound more like microsoft

I've always used firefox and I use version 3.5.5 and I have no problems for years. Probably 75% of gr.org uses firefox so if there were problems you should have heard more about it.
It's probably because you are using a beta or too many addons or skins or toolbars especially antivirus toolbars which could give you problems. It is not firefox but your own configuration.

Well, first off, it's working fine again; I did nothing to fix it, but something apparently changed.

Also, I use zero add-ons and toolbars. My config is about as vanilla as is possible. So, I'm still not sure what's causing this, but seeing as it's gone, I guess I won't worry about it.

Weird, usually firefox is the one that has least problems.

At least it works again. But please, at least try chrome. It's a lot faster.
