Well, I do play erebus alot, and it was like old times to use these two overpowered favor items (horn of battle, ring of divine might), but come on, the obvious imbalance of these two were the reason they had to be removed.

So why are they back -with no changes?

Ah well, its time to begin crying and whining until they r removed again. We are better off being too lazy to bring them back then we are to bring them back without bothering to balance them. I dont know the reasons.

I'm not happy to see its return, but I'm not sure anymore if I'm overly concerned with it.

I can assure you that I, as a Lord Erubus player, use both a minion build and an assasin build and i choose not to use items that are clearly overpowered. I'm one less person to worry about.

Well that's kind of silly. Its there to be used.

I appreciate the moral standards, but really, would anyone playing sedna during her period of uber priesting not use lvl 3 monks?

It's in the game, use it.

It is clearly too powerful. Many agree with this. At this point i can assume that within time there is going to be a patch that will bring the item back to balance.

It is but if we all agree that is is OP, we can assume it may be hit with a nerf stick which will ultimately reduce its usefullness. I wont need to be weened off my strat because it isn't using anything this is considered OP.

Both are true. Relying and using OP strats all the time that are going to be hit by the nerf bat can seriously lower someones skill level after its nerfed.

However, its in the game, so use it if you want smile.gif

The thing is, GPG already spent time on it. It wasn't changed. It might never be.

What exactly is overpowered about those favor items?

In my experience RoDM is needed for a decent minion build that isn't Erebus/Oak because, aside from favor items, there are only two items in the game that boost minion damage.

Is it only overpowered on Erebus?

If so wouldn't it be better to balance him instead of the favour items?

The previously removed favor items were not re-balanced in 1.19, they were fixed so that the buff they gave was not permanent.
