How would I go back to 1.00 or 1.01?

How would I go back to 1.00 or 1.01? To cast some replays of the old pros so people can get some idea of how good they were smile.gif

Yeah, direct patching from 1.00 to 1.01 omits 1.01's skudef file.

Just put a 1.1 skudef in your directory from here: ftp://ftp.ea.com/pub/eapacific/cnc3ep1/patch/


(the ones for 1.2 are here, for future reference: ftp://ftp.ea.com/pub/eapacific/cnc3ep1/patch12/ )

you dont just need the skudef, afaik installing 1.02 doesnt install 1.01 at all

Of course it does. In subfolders, you'll see 1.01 data if you did a direct 1.00->1.02 patch. Check the second link for the patch12 folder on EA's FTP, it holds them all as well.

You need to download 1.01 if you went straight from 1.00 to 1.02.

And how would you do that without overwriting 1.02 or completely reinstalling, hmm? How would you do it for Steam and Origin versions that are on 1.02 by default? The only way is manual download of files from EA's FTP.
