When most of us were looking on KW ladder board, but we didnt had a game. It was so exciting when u bought game and gone MP from first days Kw came up. I loved these times even if it was imba much, it was really fun. Same with C&C3, i fuckin miss these times guys..

I got the game as soon as it came out so I don't recall that. Also I was playing Tiberian Sun 24 / 7

I miss my 1.00 Purifiers
Remember one match where some guy insisted on playing with 30K starting money. I thought what the hell, why not? I picked BH, rushed to Blue Flame Purifiers and got 5 upgraded ones in his base before he reached T3. Epic match, I laughed my ass off. He didn't like it, but eh, not my fault

The guy spent the whole match spamming mechas (in 1.00) and i got something like 12 purifiers with double lazers and heroic

You can guess what happened after he ran outta mechapedes

I remember being T-59 and haveing a awesome fleet of stormriders dev warships and pacs with shocktroopers and not really ever haveing to use hexa lame it was godly

I remember FFA's on rocktagon before the eco was nerfed and you'd see armies in the triple digits....

only thing i miss about old times is the massive playerbase

i like kw1.02 - best and most enjoyable cnc3/kw gameplay thus far - yet tons to improve on and fix

TW 1.04 > KW 1.02

i dunno on one side i like 1.02 but on the other if the two players occupy different skill levels it REALLY shows...(xept for hex laming or t4 whoring)

i like 1.02 because imo it generally rewards the player for the following, far more than any previous patch
- fast adapting
- smarter unit choices
- being creative/sneaky

in general 1.02 packs a fair lot more strategic depth and variety at midgame/lategame, whereas previous patches were alot of getting the right bo's and mindless eco booming+ unit spamming.

patches like tw1.04 may be 'fun' in some ways, but i honestly didnt see much potential in long-term playability.
they were good at giving you that occasional adrenaline packed rts fix, but when you want to pick it up and get into it for a long time, it got stale rather fast.

TW has that on the toes feeling. KW has the watch tv for the 12 minutes out of every 15 you don't need to pay attention and still win your way into the top 100 feel.

I love early tw surveyors, they were speed demons.

Nope. Even though it makes enemies go FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU---, JFeasel confirmed it's not bug abuse. Try not to do that though, ok? It's freaking annoying.

I wish I started playing online games during my 20's rather than my 40's. I would have owned you all. Yep, I remember the first time I went online with TW3, ( which was just after patch 1.09 was realeased as I remember receiving a notification to install updates ), I used to feel excited whenever that 'ping' sound occured in Automatch. Only later I realised I could also create custom matches..

I remember these days. I went to GRP.org and saw a replays in KW section. I couldn't replay them, it was very frustrating.

Yes. ST are absolutely not a faction you should pick in tournament semifinals, especially not against Nod on Rift, when you KNOW there's gonna be manspam and a redeemer. And yes, that is a fucking reference.
