Battle for Middle Earth

They used this in bfme2 cw a long time ago when I was active there. Map of the month basically is a map that gets selected for the current cw month and whenever you play that map, the winner gets additional bonus points. This was mainly to prevent one map whoring and having some diversity in games.

I was thinking this might be a good idea for bfme1 cw this month and the upcoming months. We could randomly select a 1v1 map and a 2v2 map each month and whenever people play on that map they get bonus points for playing that map.

For example: Fangorn is the map of the month for 1v1 and Wold is the map of the month for 2v2 cw.
In the 1v1 the winner gets +25 clan points and +25 warrior points. In the 2v2 the winners get +50 clan points and +50 warrior points each.

Maybe people will start playing different maps now . I'm tired of hearing the same excuses like 'I don't know that map', 'I don't feel like learning it' etc.etc. I don't see a reason why the cw admin can't implent this. If there are any people who don't like this and voted no, I'd find that weird because it won't effect your games/points in any way, but for the ones that do play on other maps should get some kind of reward in my opinion.

Good idea, but some people don't like the idea of developing. In 1v1 you should still cut out maps like Southern or Rohan, because they're very imba. In 2v2 the map Crossroads is a joke aswell. Map of the Month ftw =P

In my opinion Bunker Hill should be the official cw map, farms and creeps are very balanced

That wasn't my point. I couldn't care less if some people decide to keep on playing on FoI/Anorien. They obviously don't feel like gaining some additional bonus points so who the fuck cares ? Just let them play FoI/Anorien. I didn't fucking say that everyone should be playing on different maps than FoI/Anorien. I'm just saying, it's your own choice whether you want to play different maps AND you would get bonus points for playing them.

1.it IS your own choice what map you choose, however atm all maps are created equal so no additional points for certain maps

1. Its commonly known that people who play cw ONLY play FoI/Anorien. To get some more diversity people get bonus points for maps THAT AREN'T PLAYED THAT OFTEN in cw.

Obviously, the one that voted no hasn't stated a valid reason for not implenting this. Therefore his opinion doesn't count. Hence why I call him a faggot homo. The ones that voted yes share my opinion. And besides, I already said that this won't have any effect on anything unless someone can prove me wrong, which by now hasn't happened yet.

I agree that everyone has a different opinion, but like I said in my previous posts: whenever someone does vote no and he doesn't state a valid reason, his opinion doesn't count in MY opinion simply because he HASN'T stated a VALID reason. Instead of faggot homo, I could have used 'nub'.

no you are wrong, it is not about "arguments" its about what people prefer, you cant make a list of all arguments like "+ foi is boring" and "-other maps are imba", then say well I've got 5 pros and 4 cons so lets all use that system...

if the majority wants to use it then it should be thought about introducing that system, simple as that...
