Discussion and registration for the New Year, New Maps 1v1 Tournament. Be sure to read the announcement article so you're up to speed on everything that's going on. You will need to be set up with C&C: Online so make sure you do that before the day of. Remember, GameReplays is not the place to get help with C&C: Online. Head to the Revora support forums for help with C&C: Online.
If your in-game name is different than your forum name please post the account name you will be using the day of.
New Year, New Maps Tournament will be played out on Saturday February 14th at 14:00 GMT/ 15:00 CET. We will meet in the Tournaments 01 lobby immediately after you check-in. Time differences can be cross-checked using this time zone converter. Registration closes at 13:00 GMT February 14th. At this point check-ins will open until 13:55 GMT and any registered player can check-in. Only register if you're sure you can show up. This event will feature 6 new maps that aren't included in Red Alert 3, and one map that is, but not used in tournament play. Please ensure you have all of the maps in the pool. You can download the entire tournament map pack for this event or just download the individual maps you don't have from the announcement article. Of course we encourage you all to play some matches on the maps during the week and familiarize yourself with them.

How could you select a Saturday for this. AND THE 14TH... ..FEBRUARY!
As per the tournament preferences thread we are going to be trying out different days/times and seeing what works well. Also, I thought that the week after was Valentines day.
I have the same issue as Ultr4S : i downloaded the maps, and put in Maps folder (in Roaming>RedAlert3>Maps) and i dont know why i can't see or select them when i'm hosting or when a player having this map and hosting the game... I'm not the only one having this issue apparently and this would be very troublesome if we dont have technical support while we want to participate in a tourney... I, personnaly, followed the instructions. I also made a clean installation of the game after deleting all old maps...
ill be happy to participate but im unable for some reason to see those new maps in my list..

If you have the Ultimate Collection on Origin use Bibbers fixed launchers (these fix some registry entries and let command-line parameters pass through).

Really glad to see an old player like mpRaptor to play in tournament, we desperately need all the old players participating to make it more fun also could you convince magic mushroom aka fredfirestone perhaps ?, glad you are still playing really brings hope

Very nice to see you in Raptor, I'm sure Sybert or Chris will find out a way to fix that issue you got with map installion.

magicmushroom and fredfirestone are two different players (magic told me they're brothers, and fred got married, have kids and no more time for video games)

Sorry for off topic,well usually when i ask this from past 3-4 plus years from magicmushroom he seems quite about it, its become my habbit to ask about it every time cause i am always curious to get an answer, also i remember when Mpraptor called him self Fenomenor, i used to ask him all the time really great characters and good chemistry had fun with them chatting and playing.
