ok is there an OOS cheat or what. Ive played quite a few top 10 players on the ladder only to find they go OOS when im about to kill the fortress. Just want a yes or no answer if there is one think ill stop playing. That Elvis666 faggot just did it, hobite has also done it, infact wodelb is the only one who didnt do it, instead he DC'd, unsure though if that was gamedat or a deliberate DC because I wasnt ahead at that stage of the game.

Its a sad world when the top 10 are 50% dickfaces who cheat

Yes it can be done on purpose... but then again it can be because one User is using XP & the other Vista. This does have a difference.

Well I have heard many people say it can be forced and many people say it can't. I do believe that having vista increases chance of oos. The only one who would know whether or not there is an oos cheat would be lcds nazzgul. If you talk to him he might be able to give you the information you seek.

Hai Val. The bt2dc nicks thats me. And Im glad you remember me as its been a long time. Have fun playing quickmatch although every second person disconnects instantly quits or causes an OOS. I couldnt get along with it and thats why Im just playing occasionally at the moment. Enjoy life Marty. Cya.

That's one of the bad things about playing the ladder.
That, the extreme unbalance and the dickfaced players as u mentioned.
I just play the ladder when i cannot play anything else, and I play only with elves, cuz they're fun to play with.
You should just forget about the ladder.
Play 2.4 tbh. it's not that hard to find a cw or a ffg.

@Val

Take a screen when you see the oos-error and save the replay. Post both in the cheatreport section and you will get the points and the enemy gets a ban.

Afaik hobite and wodelb are the same person right now!

And OF COURSE is there an oos-cheat. That´s not even a question!

It has nothing to do with XP. Vista increases the chances. Double vista = double chance of oos. I think some random things may increases the chances as well, like using dragon strike.

Dragon strike?

I always here this nonsence that Firebombs can make oos along with other powers and units, Imho its bs. Never happened to me when i have XP. If it does cause oos eg dragon stike, then its such a low percentage its not worth worying about.

Games seem to go oos more often after dragon strike imo. I don't think there was anything else that contributed to it though.

That's just stupid desk.

Then how would games go OOS after about 5 min or so? I know one cause is due to custom games that change the gamedata.ini file, and to reset it you have to reload the game, but people rarely do.

True; if you play a custom match and you do not exit the game and rejoin it there are a lot of possibilities to have OOS at the beginning of a game.I have Vista, sometimes happens but i think it's never happened with corsaire's fire or dragon strike..until now XD

Ofc, because when you have the Dragon Strike you probably destroyed one's fort and he does it on purpose biggrin.gif wink.gif

I didn't say Dragon Strike is the reason for oos. I said it increases the chances! I used to have an oos problem myself, and games would go oos probably 3/4s of the time right after I used dragon strike. It didn't happen for 2.4 Dragon Strike though, probably because it was changed (damage was nerfed and the odds of it sticking on fortress is a lot less).

Actually, I think I've heard that about dragon strike before. And iirc it was discussed by Maddox, and I think they said it might improve the changes of oos.
So I think Desk is correct.
