 It's RoL tournament time!! GameReplays.org is proud to announce a ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR Rise of Legends tournament sponsored by Big Huge Games  On Saturday 8th July we'll host the first of four 1 vs 1 knockout qualifying tournaments. The winner of each tournament will qualify for the all-play-all Grand Final on Saturday 5th August. The prizes are as follows: Overall winner of tournament - $600 Winner of each qualifier - $100 How do you take part? Sign up for the first qualifying tournament on the GameReplays.org tournament site from Monday 3rd July. Registration for each qualifier will start on the Monday 5 days before that qualifier. You CAN ENTER EVERY QUALIFIER if you so wish, the only restriciton is that if you win a qualifier you cannot enter another one (for obvious reasons...) The final will consist of the four qualifier winners in an all-play-all format with each match being the best of three games, the loser picks the next map. The times of the four qualifier tournaments will vary in order to allow all time zones to participate. The current schedule (subject to change) is: Saturday 8th July: 15:00 GMT start Saturday 15th July: 19:00 GMT start Saturday 22th July: 12:00 GMT start Saturday 29th July: 17:00 GMT start So what are you waiting for? 4 qualifiers will go to the final and 1 of them will win leaving 3 qualifiers left that get 100$ that should leave 700$ .
Either that or im utterly confused  |

4 qualifiers with $100 each = $400

sorry I'm new...
but how do the qualifiers work? Will there be brackets and scheduled matches and things, or do we just play as many games as we can against other tourney playes and see who does the best in the allotted time? I can't find the info anywhere, and I've never participated in an online tourney before. |
