In a surprise turn of events, the long awaited patch, 1.16.4, has been released! Although the servers have not all been updated, it is the final version and has already harvested a large community. This patch brings with it increased balance, the Japanese faction, and an auto match function. The patch has brought with it the removal of the bug involving the flamethrowers scout stealth, and the elimination of numerous other bugs including a limit to the Turtles armor, T29 armor penetration, and the D1 accuracy bug.

That's because it's not the official update. Still only the beta test patch which is not even available on the official website, only on the games' forums.

It'll be released on steam when it will also be released on the official site and not just the forums as part of the multiplayer-only beta patch. Instruction on how to install it when you use Steam have been mentioned more than once.
