Right now we're looking at three dates for The Day, all Saturdays around the end of December. Our strongly preferred date is January 2, 2009 but that can change if it looks like turnout would be better on another day.

Please spread the word to your friends about The Day and ask older 2.02 players to vote here as well! We need very many old players for this to work!

Right before and right after new year is very bad date for me, so count me out for 26 and 2.

The time is not yet right. Basically I will need a bit of time to prepare a topic for the 2.01 forums so don't worry about them quite yet.

Well ClanWars is down again so it's all Open Play. You can find games without much difficulty but you need Xfire to do so. Help us get activity up!

I can't confirm anything, but maybe in January you guys will see me agian. No more exams, no more school (I hope I start my Uni ). ^^

ok well around the 19th sounds ok - people are on holiday at this point (it's a saturday too), and it's at a good point in the month for cw competition for the remainder of december whilst being near enough to the end of the month for continued activity into January.

on the 26th it's the day after christmas so idk if that's such a great plan, and then january 2nd just seems miles away! (and people will be hungover from new years )

so yea around the 19th/20th december seems like a good plan just gotta make sure the patch is finished and perfect for then!!

Jan 2 has the added benefit of increasing the likelihood of the patch being finished and perfect which is why that's my preferred date ATM

I think we've ruled out Dec 26.

January 2nd is usually the day where I sleep due to the previous day .

I have to agree

Dec 31 = new years eve
Jan 1 = good night's sleep
Jan 2 = normal again

Forgot to post, but I'm okay with all 3 of those days. I'd say picking the day just after Christmas or New Year's is best though.

Sorry but what's 'The Day'? Sounds mystical....
