Other then news updates, i dont see much talk about it in these forums. Is the game not popular here on gr?

Not everyone has a beta key, I'm guessing once the game gets a full release we will see this place getting some decent activity.

What's the story with replays? Are they too big for hosting here on GR (20-40mb)? I appreciate stream links but some of us still come to gamereplays for the replays.

I have 5 replays saved currently, and the largest one is 30mb, I think it's safe to say they can be hosted on gr.

Currently there is no way to parsed them correctly and Valve said they will rework the replay system and provide an API which will allow us to easily extract information from replays. That is the main reason why we haven't added Dota 2 replays support to our replay system. The other reason why we are not in the hurry with the replay system, is because replays are not as popular in Dota 2 as streams and videos our.
