1. Does the Zergling vs. Zealot ratio remain at 4:1 or has it changed in the latest builds?
One zealot can usually take out two, and sometimes three zerglings. However, the ratio is mainly based on positioning and micro-controlling. As the number of zealots grows, it will take more zerglings to win the fight since the zealots can clump up and reduce the attacking surface area. Smart use of terrain, such as a choke or backing up against a wall, will also help a protoss player reduce this attack area. Zerglings have to secure a good surround around the zealots to keep the ratio close.
That only question with sense that i found and one that bit worry me. It is much easier to loose zergling than zealot which are very micro and mistake friendly. Anyone remember how many zerglings you need to kill one zealot in SC1? 3?
(Laugh at the question about loosing control, that do not bother me even in wow... what a people.)
Yeah, last time I played SC I realized that the reason Zerglings and Mutalisks seem more fragile in SC2 is that units are more likely to focus fire in SC2. In SC1 they tend to spread fire by default, increasing survivability of the Zerg units.
3 lings kill a zealot in SC1 if you fight on open ground, while if you can get a choke so that only one zergling can hit the zealot at a time you need ~6-7. This is a very fundamental property and is seen constantly in how ZvP plays out.
This makes them balanced, both can beat each other quite handily in the right conditions. If it was just 4 zerglings per zealot it would be very boring.

without adrenal glands the only way to kill a zealot with 3 lings is to micro like crazy and abuse their regeneration
no youi don't micro like crazy. You just move the zergling taking fire back so the zealo9t swich target. Piece of cake to do in the beginning and you earn so much on it.

if the zealot is being micro'd, you need to micro a lot in order for this to work
if the zealot is being moving it's hard to get a surround on it with three zerglings even with speed.
i hate to break up such a happy thread but check out the answer to question 6.. and see what even the most pro-BLizzard and pro-SC2 sites are saying about it
"6. Map/mod to site communication – Will there be support for map/mod makers to bridge a connection between their map/mod to their site? For example, if a person wanted their map/mod to submit scores/results to the site, and vice-versa the map/mod could pull the highest scores from the site and display it in the game.
It is possible for players to make their own custom score screens but there are no specific plans to bridge map data to web sites via Battle.net. It is unclear whether the above answer means that no game and player data API will be provided to developers when Battle.net 2.0 is launched. In the current day and age when virtually all modern social platforms provide developers with great API tools to enhance and expand their products and user base, Blizzard should seriously consider giving developers (especially ones eyeing the premium content marketplace) tools to extract specific game map and player data. the extremely pro-Blizzard sites are hoping its a "misunderstanding".. you'd think Blizzard would reassure its biggest fan sites if it were a misunderstanding...

You would think that, but you would also think that they wouldn't take months to shoot down a rumor about the game being pay to play.
Not saying that I think its just a misunderstanding. I'm just saying that Blizzard kind of has a track record for making ambiguous statements and then not clarifying.
It's easier for the zerg to do though. If you micro right the zealot can't do much about it.
i dont think they can kill him if you make sure they don't chase... you attack a zergling twice and then it can't come to you anymore without dying, so i dunno. 3 zerglings just doesn't seem like enough tbh.
