Dawn of War 2

In the past week, I've seen some space marine paint schemes with white helms. How exactly can I emulate this?

Also, does anyone have a link to that Army Painter mod that lets you see all the units?

Probably Marines Rank 50+ish, that's my guess.

U have to choose the "model colouring" the first one on right, or second... i can't remember, i don't use this because it looks funny than badass.

the fourth color patern.

Fourth color pattern, 3rd slot indicates helm color.

okay I do this and have done since just after release.

Select the fourth colour pattern/scheme, then make the 3rd colour white.
I tend to find it looks better with the rest one colour, say blue for instance and then of course do the details whatever you like.

Just incase I wasnt clear enough heres a screenshot of my setup, I usually only change the blue to other colours.

It's usually Sargeants or Veterans that have different helmet color.

It doesnt change the fact that it looks like he would take someone's else helmet because his own got raped.

To each his own, I guess.

But it's a common trick in games/movies to differentiate officers like this (for example orange shoulderpads on stormtroopers sergeants in Star Wars). Obviously in real life that would be stupid, it would just say "Hey, shoot me first".

But IMO for a game purpose this looks like "I'm a bad ass mofo and I'm gonna split your skull."

Nice figurine but we're talking here about in game models. Where most of the people don't know that helmet in diffrent colour mean and is only understanded by those who read codex'es.

So it may look cool for you but for normal man it's "Crap, did he just stealen someone's helmet ? LoL"

I fail to see how its any different to having the colour scheme in quarters, or halves.

Des you have no style dude. Different color helmets own. I have a "White Scars Special" color scheme that has that faded off red color as their helmet as well and it looks absolutely badass -- exactly the same as the original White Scars but with a matching red helmet. So pro. So pro.

I feel a paint job thread coming on.......

Do whatever you want, i don't give a shit about it. Make them shiny and power-rangers-like however you want.

Style is something that you don't talk about, fischbs white space marines are like walking sperm with a red tip on.... bleeeh
