Just want to see what cummunity think about it:
Should Smurfing ladder be allowed?

1)Yes - allow smurfing ladder since you open smurf and spam ladder with smurfs since no one knows you,you can try new faction and/or bash Noobs, steal points from high ranks since your main wont lose anything if you lose since you play smurf and just play vs low skill players by opening smurf over and over again.

2)No - not allowing smurfing ladder because it ruin the sportsmanship some players get to rank 1-4 and to avoid loss of points they open smurf so they can stomp other players from getting points since winning smurf(rank 3000-5000) gives 2-5 Points and losing to smurf makes you lose 25-35 points as high rank, aslo oppening smurf get you rank 3000-5000 with means you will play vs low skill players always as you open smurf and bash low skill players.

3)Yes But Only 1 Smurf in ladder - Allow smurfing ladder with 1 smurf only, you can use your main for serious games and to get high rank while using smurf to train faction/try new thing since it is 1 smurf it is not abused and fair.

Btw Make it civil no spam or flame other users.

I dont agree with smurfing imo there should be only one account in ladder from one player and not more than 3... lets say that I can still agree with 2 and ofc not more

I personally think it shouldnt be allowed. However, I voted for the last option, following RedPawn's idea of using the lowest smurf for qualification, making it sort of a punishment!

I don't see why we should expect people to be evil and abuse smurfing. Where have we gotten?

Couch you defended smurfing in another thread, so I don't understand. I vote no, because if 1 ID on the ladder is good enough for me, it should be good enough for anyone. If you need to play ra3 24/7, readdress your life.

Don't worry about someone else's life, man (assuming that you're a man).

I voted yes, because I would prefer it like this.

But no smurfs wouldn't bother me too much either.

I can definitely see gex's point here, but I will say what zlex said.

Don't under estimate an opponent and always do you your best.

Smurf or not, if you're good enough you'll win anyways, but I suppose it isn't really worth the effort, because you still get little points and have a lot of points to lose.

holy crap I should have voted no, wtf was a I thinking?!

*facepalm*

But how many people are evil enough to get rank 1-4 and then makes a bunch of smurfs to hopefully stop other people from reaching higher ranks?

Cleaned, and please don't over react guys. That was just a small joke relating to the topic and was not intended to de-rail it. Couch and lolly weren't trying to de-rail this either.

No maniek. I don't care and i think this discussion is useless. Smurfing isn't a bad thing imo, if you lose vs some good smurf, you just aren't good enough.

With the come of bots you can check smurfs anyway.

I would like to reverse my position on this issue now...

I know for a fact that some players are deliberately abusing smurfing to gain an unfair advantage in the ladder war.

It seems people cannot abide by the honor system... so let's treat all the community like cheaters and reinstate the anti-smurf rule...

Ye, it sucks when you think "hey, he's above 10k rank, let's do something crazzzy´!"

Dunno what your problem is, when you lose to a smurf because "he abused high rank" you pretty much disrespected him.

I'm sure what you are writing would make a lot more sense if I could understand it.

Hello

I am old player, can't start play again but want to check the ladder now and then.
See you people don't use cncboards or official page anymore, was looking in gamespy but couldn't find it.
Can someone please write the link to the ladder that is used nowadays?

You know in RTS, people get better over years. When a set of pros leave a game, doesn't mean that the game will never have good players ever again...
