i play all, 2v2v2 if nothing else. 3v3 defcon is my favorite
3 vs 3 was a favorite of most players, too bad 3 vs 3 games are not the most common on Revora, mostly due to 2v2v2 games being the norm, but also having perpetually imbalanced teams adds a lot to why 3 vs 3 Defcon games are harder to get started.
2 vs 2 is fun as well, as long as you can get a few players together and spam a bunch of mildly competitive matches on various maps; The problem with that is most people only play three maps in 2 vs 2.
Generals and Zero Hour did use GameSpy, but neither GenTool nor C&C:Online work on Mac OS natively, as they depend on Windows libraries. As the others said, make a Windows partition or virtual machine, or use Boot Camp and run the games through that. Keep in mind that the C&C:Online launcher is not to be used for these two titles (only use GenTool), and should only be used if you want to play any of the other three supported games (also, only Windows versions).
