Is there a way to view the russian characters in the ingame chat for MOW rather than the rubbish code?

Try this, it worked wonders for me (though you can't copypaste Cyrillic text from outside the game into the game or vice versa).

How do I repack the .pak file? if I just rar it up and change it back to .pak it doesnt work!

You're not supposed to rar it back or pak it back after installing the fix. All you need to do is rename game.pak to something else, to force the game to run on the extracted files, which include the fix.

judging by how most russian players play i doubt they could have anything interesting to say that you would need to read.

However if I were to imagine, it would be something along the lines of:

"WE PLAY TANKS ONLY ON ROAD HI RESOURCES!" or "WE FIND EXPLOIT OK"

I can't hate on them too much though...they did make the game after-all (the russian people, not the players shitting up the game).

What they do most is complain about your ping, actually. Lol.

They also hate TNT with a passion. If I do host my own tank 3v3 on roads, I do it with factions they almost never played(UK/Japan) and if I TNT them, they're probably spouting something off in Russian. It's funny but sad. The few who do play and accept the TNT usually don't come back or if they do, they'll do it since there's no other game up.

They're also afraid of the extremely rare mirror matches(same faction matches).

I really don't get the tank only games. The NO TNT are especially stupid, and i saw one NO TNT and NO PUMA...Wtf?

There's too many NO-something games. Infantry only is OK, and makes sense, but Tank only is just boring and usually consists of an IS-3 and a KT hitting each other, while someone flanks. I also don't like NO ARTY games. Althou i hate arty with a passion, it's still a valid tactic and the games isn't better without it.

The game is better without it. My opponent will finally put up some resistance as I push into their spawn by spawning a tank instead of spawning another howitzer that he has no mean to defend with.

I really have to elaborate this point. It's funny as hell to me. It's like they can't handle a tank crew guy running up to a turreted tank with an AA MG guy.

Another dumb observation. Did a 3v3 that turned to 2v3 in a road tank game. I knew I was gonna get kicked eventually since one of the other players was either AFK or a straight up retard watching me and my ally get pounded. So I TNT their lesser tanks(regular Tiger and a Puma, not KTs which were killed by my ISU-152's) and I get booted. Shows you that some of these douchebags only care about winning. But hey, their game. I guess if I host a tank game I'll be an asshole like them just to say fuck you - but at least I'll have the courteousy to say something about it than booting without an explanation.

Not all Russians are intolerant assholes, but some of these guys really need a punch on the ballsack.

True, I once had a pretty fun co-op game with two of them, and then some victory flag games where we actually worked as a team.
