Good news from BFME2 Developer Team. They fix SafeCast authorization problems in The Battle for Middle Earth II Beta. The answer was very simple - delete one file. What the file? Read here
"Hey everyone
Macrovision has put a fix in place to solve the authentication issues to access the beta test. If you were getting a permission denied message, please run The Battle for Middle-earth II beta program again and enter in your SAFECAST username and password in the appropriate boxes. It should absolutely work for you now."

I don't think this is very clear. Is this problem just for new persons trying to get onto BETA or for existing players? I tried to connect this morning and could not. So I rebooted and tried again. This time I got online but could not get into the chat room to get a game. So I quit from online and went back online and then everything was OK. I didn't need to delete a file or anything.
wow thanks ea, I've seen this answer to "a" problem weeks ago. If you could make sure you fix all the other safecast problems you would be off more help than to copy and past someone's findings
Deleting this file has not helped me at all. When I hit finish for the BFME2 beta, I get a "internet helpdesk wait screen" that just sits there and it wont let me into the game. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling 6-7 times. The last 3 ive deleted the B4266000.DAT file but I still get the "internet helpdesk wait screen" window. I cant get into the game. Please help.
