Oh, that only show everyone here how brutish your Imperium is. We welcome all human prisioners of war to join us for the greater good.

Many accept, even they are allowed to worship your Emperor, meanwhile they work and fight for the Greater Good.

As you can see, your Imperium is as rotten as your Emperor. Meanwhile our fledging empire is the new spark of Hope in the galaxy.

Join us.

I didn't think Tau could be psykers as they have no warp presence. I thought Ethereals are, like, Mensa for Aliens? post-13661-1143531603.gif

Technically no tau, even an ethereal are psykers. This has advantages sincer no tau has EVER being corrupted by chaos, and we have no daemon incursions on our planets biggrin.gif

Unfortunately we don't have warp navigators, but nothing a good AI computer can done.

In fluff, Ethereals guide tau with pheromones, not psychic powers. But without them the tau continue to fight for the greater good. The pheromones are just to tame the most rebelious ones, like O'shovah.

But nobody can deny the benefits of the ethereal leadership. The tau race jump from Stone axes and lances to Railguns and plasma fire in less than 6000 years. Give them 500 or 1000 more years... and they will make eldar tech make like stone age (at least the normal tech, not the warp one)

In Graham McNeill'S WH40k novel Courage and Honor (the 5th book of the Ultramarines Series) it is clearly shown that the Ethereals also have that effect on normal humans (homo sapiens imperialis). One of them is strangely calmed by the Ethereals words / presence ... smile.gif

I think the Tau are mentioned on the back of the cover of the book and Tau almost never venture into a campaign without one of the Ethereals ... smile.gif

Shall I hide it as a spoiler anyway? blink.gif

Sounds like something a Daemon Prince of Tzeentch would say mad.gif

And srsly, if you think Tau are so 'friendly' towards the human populations just watch the ending of DC when you complete campaign with Tau.

Since they first rebel against the greater good, it is a logic reaction. Anyway, they are more bening than the Imperium, since typical solution for the imperium would likely be to exterminate a rebelious population.

Tau are not "the friendly guys" They offer you to join them, or die under their guns. At least they let you choose. All other races will just exterminate the entire planet population.

THAT is the difference between tau and the Imperium. They let you choose, and in fluff, human populations are highly regarded by tau, as much as kroot or vespid in their empire. Of course the tau are first among equals, but hey, as I have said before, i prefer being a "Gue'vesa'la" in a tau colony where I will be tolerated, than being an imperial citizen, working in a farm or manufactorum, without any kind of life, with the fear of the psykers, the inquisition, the local guardsmen or the angels of death.

It is true, look at fluff. At this time, no one Tau has been corrupted by chaos since they have no "soul" to corrupt. They can be deceived, manipulated, but not corrupted.

And since there are no psykers, the daemons cannot enter realspace on tau planets, except, maybe, through an alied race member who is (like a mutated kroot or a human)

You picked a keyword there DECEIVED...the Ethereals i dont think are all they are cracked up to be and the Greater good is heresy and lies!
If any tau actually had a mind they would see whats going on.
For the imperium!
