So finally Steve J. revealed the iPad. What are your thoughts on this new high end gadget? Do need one, do you want one, or do you say screw it?

I'm a bit disapointed, it's nothing more than an advanced web browser imo. But who knows, maybe there will be another 1 million custom applications for the iPad and make it a great deal.

Does anyone know the aimed price for this paddy?

After watching the review on it last night, Im thinking its just another pc of crap. Im really not impressed with it at all but, then again, I dont support apple or mac at all either =/

Apple's stuff isn't the best there is and also by far not the cheapest. A lot of it is just hyped up like the iPods, because there are actually far better mp3-players.

This is a device for the casual user of computers and might, very likely be a competition to eReader devices such as Amazon's Kindle. However, for the advanced computer user, this is a complete waste of money.

Your my hero, you just read my mind. For years i have been trying to convince people of this fact, and just becuse its the most popular people assume its the best. For example i use creative for mp3s , there great and do everything that i pods do but much more compadible then ipods. I think ill pass on this and go with a wacom model thanks. In my opionion it wont be long until this type of stuff is the norm, newspapers will soon be obsolete.
