Other things to note...

One clicks can be used as Anti Air Defenses. The vapour bomb can destroy aircraft (except the mothership and aircraft with scrin's forcefield tech) with one blast. The catalyst can be used to destroy the armageddon bomber before the vapour bomb reaches its target.

Seed tiberium can be used as a feign vapour bomb on your opponents tech structure. Most decent opponents will try to sell off their tech structure before the bomb drops for extra cash. You can exploit this behaviour by calling in a 500 credits bomber and tricking them into selling their 2000 credit tech structure which will also send them back to the stone age smile.gif However some opponents (including myself) have been on the receiving end of this trick and will only sell the structure once they actually see the bomb!

It's often good practice to sell off the chemical plant after using all your one clicks (unless you feel the game will last a LONG time) as you gain 750 credits (could be more I forget) and a blackhand squad.

The catalyst missile is deadly against large groups of infantry (except zone troopers and the commando) and is a good counter against late game infantry spam. There are cheaper alternatives but none are more effective, remember LARGE groups or else you are just wasting money. Oh and if the infantry are beside an enemies' ref then even better!

GDI AA Batteries are weak vs. The nod bomber. Don't expect your AA turret to save you from a vapour bomb unless its far infront. It takes roughly 2-3 seconds for the turret to kill the Bomber. A better option is to use 1-2 pitbulls or a firehawk with AA loudout.

The Vapour bomb, while not very effective against armoured vehicles, is effective vs. All Infantry and light vehicles. Of course you gotta take the speed of the vehicles into consideration as they can easily avoid the bomb whilst infantry can also avoid it by the Scatter Move command (CRTL + X). Mine drops, whilst somewhat less damaging than vapour bombs, are considered a more effective option vs units as they are cheaper, do not give off a warning beacon and are more effective against armoured units, especially mammoth tanks and jugernaughts.

One last tip, consider your placement of the tib chem plant. Depending on which side of the map your chem plant is closest to, that is the side of the map the Bomber will emerge from. Use this to your advantage and place the chem plant at a location that allows you to get a better bomber flight path and possibly even avoid the enemies AA defenses altogether.

Oh and remember if you are playing a nod mirror, it might be worth considering using your catalyst missle on the enemies chem plant IF you can deny him 1 click opportunities. You gotta be fast though because if he uses his 1 clicks before you kill his chem plant then you've just wasted 2000 on nothing and probably suffered a dent in your eco (and ego) when he 1 clicks you and laughs smile.gif

Actually I made sure to use mostly different points than what you wrote in your article. For example, you said that the seed tiberium can be used as a sacrifice in order to secure safe passage for the vapour bomb. My note said that it can be used AS the "vapour bomb", as a false bomb to trick your opponent into selling his tech. I don't see this point included in your article (like many others I made) so I decided to add them in my comment.

If you don't want me adding these additional points you can always edit your original post to include these tips and I will delete my post?

Either way, thanks for posting this there hasn't been a TW guide in awhile ^^ smile.gif

Nope you didn't see probably:

Seed Tiberium can be nice way to overplay your opponent. Use Seed Tiberium on his base (preferrably a Tech Center or a War Factory) to convince him that you are sending a Tiberium Vapor Bomb his way. He will sell off his structures to get money, but you can now send the real Vapor Bomb to other structures and make him look bad.
