Rise of Legends

Anyone ever played Total Annihilation: Kingdoms .

I absolutely loved playing this game and played it from about 2001 to 2003/2004ish. I used to be extremely good at this game, probably border line noob now . Anyways, last time I stopped by the lobby at gamespy arcade it was pretty dead, which isn't surprising since the game was released in 1999. I'd love to play a few games with anyone here .

Currently I'm pissing around with the campaign, which has a pretty good story line, as I'm completely bored out of my mind with all modern RTS atm.

Now here is the big selling point. This game is completely free now, and I can even link to it on this site. This is not piracy, the copyright to the game is no longer held by any company, and hasn't been for several years.

The last official patch is 3.0bb with the darien crusades. There is a fan made 4.0 patch that I haven't tried yet, I think it just fixes a couple of bugs or something.

The Iron Plague is the expansion pack , it is also on that page. I don't have that, but am meaning to download it after I finish playing with the original.

I'll definitely check it out once I have time... but I don't have the time at the moment lol. Maybe next week or two because I'm extremly busy.

BTW, do you have SSBB now?

You can also join our starcraft hamamchi group. Since most of the past RoL players are going to SC2, you might as well get the hang of the first game. Zerg are alin done right lol.

Shit, I forgot i got that in a bargain bin. Now the damn game is free . Waste of 10 bucks.

Actually yes, i have played the game. Ruins, you have PROBLEMS if you love that game but hate supremem commander. Why? Total Annihilation: Kingdoms = another version of Total Annihilation. (I've played Total Annihilation too, i swear Total Annihilation is better than Total Annihilation: Kingdoms.) And supreme commadner is like total annihilation two, with better graphic more units etc. I played Supreme commander and i can say right now that Supreme Commander > Total Annihilation > Total Annihilation: Kingdoms. However, ruins told me that he hated sup com but loved Total Annihilation: Kingdoms that shit game? Dude, WTF?

I've played Total Annihilation: Kingdoms. I played it for 1 monthes then decided i hate it. I've played Total Annihilation as well, have you guys? I think Total Annihilation is better than Total Annihilation: Kingdoms. I actually played Total Annihilation for about 5 monthes. BTW, there is a 3d version of total annihilation (not supreme commander) maybe by a random dude. The graphic is okay for a decent game and it supports multiplayer. Here's the link
