Worth the wait?

I knew this would happen. At first everyone was all excited. YAY! June -> Battlefield 1943 on Xbox, ps3, AND PC WOOOOO!!! Then: no PC version until September. sad.gif Disappointed a lot of true veterans of the franchise, but whatever. They had some good reasoning about porting the engine from PC to console.

But now delayed into 2010 with no date!?!? I expect that they better be making some significant improvements over the console version in order to justify this huge setback. At this rate Bad Company 2 will be out before 1943. sad.gif

Hm.. starting to lose my excitement for the game, since there are so many good games coming out before Bf1943, I think this portal will be needing a make over soon.. BAD COMPANY 2 FTW!

Exactly !!!

I´d love to discuss a lot more about BC2 than 43, also because everything in 43 is already known.

Ive read somewhere it will have 46 or so many weapons, 4 classes I think... and just...
6 months away.

If only Dice was attending this forum like EALAs doing on RTS´s, then if we had a real influence on the process of the stuff we want in, how much we want it to be like RL etc...

it seems we need more reasonable peeps overhere coming with interesting ideas :-)

Everytime I come to this section I find my own post to be the last. Monologues look dumb haha

but the BF community is vastly bigger on Bf community sites

Ditto. I think we may have to shelve any 1943 info.

I was waiting for the PC version(Being that I will buy BC2 for the PC, and wanted the WW2 unlocks) But once I heard the news it was delayed untill 2010,I just got it for console(Xbox) instead of waiting forever. It is still alot of fun on xbox live.

yah dude, good choice. and if you really want the unlocks then get bf 1943 when it comes out, its only 15$ its really not that much money for something you actually want. or maybe you just wanna ask other people what the weapons are like and if theres good feed back get it. or just arrange a ingame meetup with him and look at it and have him fire away
