It's official now and it's way better than the laggy Twitch, it has better chat system, no clutter, easier to find live games, find streams by game, even donate buttons etc.. @streamers, please consider switching to YouTube instead of Twitch.
There is no doubt that Youtube (Google) provides nice and stable services, however cancelling out German viewers can be a problem for European focused streamers, because Germany usually has most viewers of all European countries, and thus you would pay a high price for no real significant advantage over other platforms.
May I ask, what is the reasoning for them blocking YoutubeGaming in Germany?
It's blocked because YouTube say that GEMA (the German equivalent of the Performing Rights Society for Music in the UK) charges too much per broadcast on behalf of copyright owners.
