future patch changes`?

hey guys,

i just wanna tell u one or two thoughts i had last days concerning changes for a new patch.
what do u guys think of the stuff?

1. do bats of troops on a higher level regenerate themselves faster than a level 2 bat for example? think it would be a great thing:)

2. if archers gaining experience, for example they gofrom lvl 4 to lvl 5, i think it would be nice if they would eighter shoot faster when they level up, or get a huger range:)

any thoughts about it?

My first thought is that this way it will be very hard to come back from a position where you are in disadvantage. If u have a bad start and ur units get destroyed in the beginning (for example in an elf mirror) you have to face even more better/stronger archers with ur newly made units.

This is why I already introduced level 10 units. Theirs a significant difference in hp and damage output from 1 to 5 and 5 to 10. We dont currently need any further advantages of higher ranked units. Monsters also get heal but thats because they cant get healed from wells/houses of healing etc

All the armies should actually be able to build lumber mills.
Then again, men of the west marketplace should be nerfed in that case(the extra money upgrade).

Dwarves and elves should probably just get them for balance reasons but well ...it doesnt make much sence(not that it would matter that much to me lol, were playing a game biggrin.gif )

Dwarves could have a bank object (generates a small amount of resources on its own, doesnt need trees or area for money, but limited to 3-4 structures or such), and elves could have tree grooves). There are many other things wich could be implemented, like for men, a fishing pond. But we wont see them.

Evil factions have Lumber Mills. Elves have stealth and Men have the market place plus stealth for Ithilien Rangers.

What do Dwarves have?

No need to give Elves or Men Lumber Mills.

But Gobs have a tunnel network. Isen and Mordor have industry.

Every faction has something that makes use of trees except Dwarves. Men also get the Market Place due to Ithilien stealth being not so impactful overall.

I don't think this is such a big deal, just wondering if something should be done about it. I'm no expert on balance. smile.gif

Honestly gobs having tunnel system like dwarves is just broken. Less slots in the tunnels(3 tops) or non at all would probably move gobs closer to something that is not a full on cancer.

Because this is BfME2. EA had bought license to this game and made this how they wanted it to be like.

This game hasn't been changed through all active years and people had great fun. Ofc the balance wasn't perfect. There were a lot more people playing than now, and they needed no extra-fucking visual details, some shitlike carpets around forts or fireworks for hobbits lol.

Dwarves have no banks, goblins have no industry, men have no lumber mills. This is how EA designed it, I like it and accept it. Leave it as it is.

No. they made it the most cost effective way. Rolling out utterly diffuse garbage or that's at least what you have to call rotwk by default, although idon't blame the devs themselves. Idk them, but i can well imagine, if they had been given the time, a whole lot of things about any bfme game would have looked and played differently compared to to how they did in the end. Including better balance, polished graphics and and and..

That's also one of those major reasons why I die off cancer almost every time somebody throws in some dumb comment like 'it's feels too modlike wooo hooo hoo hoo..' or something of that sort, because every fucking patch is a mod, independend of whoever might have created it and it's just modern game design to do so. Be grateful you get it for free.

08 and 09 still better than 06, try to enjoy them. U can play 1.06 alternatively anyways. Btw, i would like to write YOLO somewhere. Does it work here? i hope so.
