Btw. is that possible that I used charge on those hormagaunts and I throw them myself in my Ogryns? I know that sounds crazy, but if we assume that they can't knockback them with some support, and the fact that domino works this way... could it be...?

Don't have a replay, but I have definitely seen it. With melee synapse they have 65 melee skill, so they are able to knockback at least ranged units. Most melee units have 70 melee skill so there it won't work.

Melee skill increases with leveling, so level 2 Hormagaunts under melee synapse actually have a 1% chance to knockback level 1 ogryns if I understand the mechanics right (and level 4 Hormagaunts have 3% chance to knockback level 1 ogryns).
melee skill increases by 1 for each level you have and you cannot perform melee specials.... actually, just go to dow2.info and look up the melee skill page.
Ah, ok, I thought that 5% + x formula goes in both ways. So Hormagaunts would have only a chance to knockback Ogryns when Hormagaunts are level 4 and under melee synapse (68 melee skill) and Ogryns are level 1 and moving (also 68 melee skill). The chance would be 5%.
Unless the melee skill really has to be higher, then it is impossible. It is a bit confusing because it writes about higher and lower melee skill, but not exact same melee skill.
Least u have ur guardian grenades, as ork if ur weirdboy is focused or he misses one attack u best start hauling ass out. Also i think ogrins gives me the impression of them having on a troll face, which i think is apropos.

Eldar have a harder time against Ogryns than Orks. Also, for Orks you want to use the Weirdboy Vomit and Stormboys as the best way to take down Ogryns.
Stormboyz are a hard buy for me to counter ogryns. With nob ur paying close to ogryns price for em and without a weirdboy at an additional 400/40, though yeah Weirdboy is always worth it, backing em up they will die fast and it's a bad bet to buy em t1 to fight ig.
I can't speak for eldar as a race I play. I'm mainly going by me 2v2 partner F1nal3 and his maniacal laughter every time he obliterates them with nades. All I know is they are I huge pain for me as an ork to counter that requires two units at minimum to kill them without any interference from teh enemy team.

to reliably counter them with eldar i tend to have to get rid of the army then use everything i have left on them to attempt to force them off
